I was at the Madejski stadium tonight in our companies exec box and whilst taking a call I overheard an American guy talking about sorting a deal for "kasper" – Kasper Schmichael from Notts County perhaps?

10 Mar 2010 21:58:00
Liverpool are willing to sell Gerrard but not Torres. Rafa wants Balotelli from Inter as part of the deal which will see Gerrard move to the Milan side. I mentioned a while back about Pepe Reina being made Liverpool captain next season and Gerrard knows this will happen regardless. Carragher will not step up but will still be vice captain as Rafa wants an Agger/Kjaer partnership as his first choice. Rafa will try to replace Gerrard with one of Milner or Javi Martinez. Liverpool are also tracking Tom Cairney of Hull, Otimendi of Velez and as eveybody knows Mata of Valencia. Also a left back is needed but I have no names, just a rumour that first choice is a British player.

TO WHOM WHO SAID THIS :::::I have lived in Spain the last 3 years and am lucky enough to play at the same golf club as several members of the real Madrid board, last year they told myself and a friend they would be having a clear out and bringing in ronaldo, kaka, alonso & villa, 3 out if the 4 where sighned, in a similar boast last weekend the same gentlemen said ribery, pato & again they said villa would be coming in, and belive it or not the 2 players leaving would be benzena & ronaldo! It's belived ronaldo is seen as to arogant and Madrid have beacome one dimensional, there had also
been rumours that kaka, raul and several other first team players are looking at moving on if ronaldo stays! When I asked where ronaldo is likely to be heading I was told Manchester or london! Belive it or not! I sat on what I was told last year ad I thought it a joke, and was left with egg on my face, won't do the same again!

:::: I HEARD A RUMOUR SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN GLASGOW IT WAS THAT CRISTIANO RONALDO WAS TO BIG HEADED IN MADRID THAT HE WAS TOLD HE WILL BE SOLD IN SUMMER UNLESS HIS ATTITUDE CHANGED .I DONT THINK IT WILL HAPPEN THOUGH AS HE IS A GREAT PLAYER WHICH REAL CAN AFFORD TO LOSE WITHOUT HIM THERE GOOD BUT WITH HIM THERE ARE GREAT !!.MY GUESS IF HE DOES LEAVE MANCHESTER CITY WOULD BE THE ONLY CLUB THAT COULD RAISE THE CAPITAL FOR A DEAL LIKE THAT !!

That is a possibility but i heard that Fergie knowing that Ronaldo would hate being a big fish amongst bigger fish and not being the Superstar he was at man utd put a buyback clause into the contract and funny not alot of the Ronaldo money has been spent thus far could be goin back to man utd

10 Mar 2010 18:57:59
Bury's Stephen Dawson will rejoin Leicester City, the club he started out his career with. He will sign on loan with a view to a permanent deal to try and help them push for promotion.

Luke Varney will sign in the summer in a swap for DJ Campbell, or he will be a straight cash signing of 300k.

10 Mar 2010 18:59:02
Jamie Carragher is a transfer target for Spurs, Man City and Chelsea and few european teams. £4 million pound could be enough to secure his signature as his Liverpool days could be numbered.

Cardiff will have to hope that investment comes in, otherwise it's a MAJOR rebuilding job for next season. have heard that Roy Evans could be appointed as an interim manager for 2010/11.

10 Mar 2010 18:26:19
Andy Hessenthaler who is currently manager of Dover Athletic has today been asked to help out Watford manager Malky Mackay for tactics for the next 3 games. If Watford lose on Saturday then I can 99% sure say from my sources at the club that Malky will be sacked and a number of people could be in charge on a deal which would finish at the end of the season. Mick Harford and Luther Blisset are currently top of the list.

Heard this all today from a mate who's uncle is someone called Julian Winter who works at the club.

Where do you dream these from ??

Agbonlahor will not leave Aston Villa Football Club so stop making up these stupid rumours. AVFC is his boyhood club and he does not want the wrath of the holte end and run the risk of becoming hated like many before him.

Hearing Villa are looking at Defender, Midfielder and 2 strikers time will tell

10 Mar 2010 17:38:04
This one comes via the club physio and someone I know on the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest. The physio is a new source for PSR, but let's hope he's as reliable as my source on the coaching staff!

Forest have been sniffing around for replacements for McKenna and names like Surman have been mentioned. But Davies has been listening to feedback from the coaches and might have found something closer to home.

This lad in the youth team, Carl Peters, has developed quickly in the last few months and his shoulders are akin to Tom Huddlestone's when he broke through at Derby at 16. His range of passing isn't amazing, but Davies may throw him in as a stop gap until a dear for Surman or Carsley can be done.

Further to my earlier message regarding Roy Hodgson becoming Liverpools manager next season.

In response to another poster, King Kenny does not want the job, he knows Liverpool are in a bad way at the moment and doesn't want to lose his hero status with the fans.

Guus & Special 1 (who i would love there)i really can't see coming as there just wouldn't be the money for them to spend.

Hodgson is a good manager and this would be one last big job to finish his career.

I know a lot of the stuff is just for fun, but will people stop sending in things like "Yakubu to join Stoke on loan for rest of season". There's been a few like this lately, WHY? Everyone knows that the transfer window for Premier clubs is shut for buying AND loans!! Stop it!

Rumours i have heard
Man U – Joe Cole will almost certainly be approached if he doesn't re–sign with Chelsea.
Van Der Weil – Fergie is interested but wants to see how Rafael develops, he hasnt impressed this year as fergie thought he would. RB is key area united need to strengthen as teams are focusing on stopping Evra down the left. expect Van Der Weil to move in summer for £12–14 million even if it isn't to OT
Silva/Modric/Defour – to be honest i think fergie would take cole over these giys but if that doesn't work out expect interset. Erry may be reluctant to let Modric leave for a reasonable amount so Silva may be tempted away for 20–25million and defour for 15 million.
Berbatov – He may leave to be honest, fergie is a huge fan but Berbatov just isn't getting the goal return he was expected to. Expect interest from Italian clubs like Roma, Juve, AC
Defoe, Di Maria, Agbonlahor, If Berba goes then a move will be made. Given his history i would expect Fergie to go young so agbonlahor to learn from Rooney, THe likelihood of this is small though but if interest is shown agbonlhaor will hand in request as he is very ambitious even if he is a lifelong Villa fan
Villa – just don't see it. would take a huge financial package to prise him from Valencia and he is a risk given his age.
Rodwell – Fergie will be held to ransom for Rodwell and you know he hates that. if he really really wants him he will pay whatever it takes but its wether he will take that risk.

Looking forward to tonight will be good to see a MAn U legend back at OT.

Stuey

STUEY LAD, RAFAEL HAS BEEN SUPERB THIS YEAR, FERGIE HAS SAID IT HIMSELF, WITH O'SHEA, BROWN, NEVILLE & RAFAEL ALL CAPABLE RIGHT BACKS, I FIND IT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE FERGIE WILL WASTE MONEY ON ANOTHER RIGHT BACK, ESPECIALLY WHEN PLAYERS LIKE RODWELL, DI MARIA & DEFOUR IS TOP OF HIS WISH LIST! EXPECT TWO OF THESE TO SIGN IN THE SUMMER AS UNITED WILL ONLY HAVE AROUND 40M TO SPEND!

10 Mar 2010 12:14:55
Rod Hodgson to be Liverpool manager next season.

No major departures from the squad, Duff & Hangeland will follow Hodgson up the road to Anfield.

right Im def goin to the bookies I'm from ireland and usually just go on this site for a laugh at some of the dreamers playin premiership manager that reguarly post here but this rumour has reached me through my brother in–law he's a banker in london and only last sat rang to tell me of a rumour he'd heard about a possible ronaldo return he won't say where but says he was told the money that gill has said is still in the bank is going straight back to madrid this summer as like said in above posters comments kaka raul and cassills(spelling) have all voiced their dislike for ronaldo I'm not sayin it's a done deal but hearing this twice now in quick sucsession I reckon it's worth a little flutter

10 Mar 2010 11:37:26
I see through all these rumours and seculation of arsenals goalkeeping choices and problems every1 is mentioning the same names over and over and since when is AW 1 to indulge fans and sign players they all believe are to becoming in it has been said in the past that the 1 keeper he is interested is mexicos new number francisco ochoa he is young he plays in a really poor leaue the mexican 1 so he would cost approx 5–8 million for a keeper who many many big name teams have been watching for the past year to watch his growth

10 Mar 2010 11:39:04
It appears that Arsene Wenger's main transfer target this summer is now Mohamed Zidan of Borussia Dortmund!

10 Mar 2010 11:53:24
Man City: Has the money, but for some reason no really good player wamts to join, just like last season (Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema). biggest signing will be higuain or maicon.

Chelsea: Has money to spend and will spend it, but won't get ribery, as real are willing to pay much more. Their signings will be Aquero and Di maria, and maybe Dani Alves. Anelka will be sold to Inter, good partnership with eto'o

Man Utd: Not enough money! If you had the money, the Davids would be a done deal, but Rodwell will be your biggest signing.

Liv'pool: Until rafa is fired, he will keep buying stupid pointless 10m players that no one knows. If the rumors about a new owner are true, then they will probabley give the manger (whoever it is) more money than most are expecting. If we have a new ambitious manager (mourinho pleeeaaaassseeee) then we could sign someone in the likes of David Villa or Silva.

Arsenal: The worst of all the clubs transfer wise. Fabregas and Arshavin have been their only two good signings in the past years. Fabregas may go to barcelona, which will help all the other big clubs sign some of the players barcelona are after. With chamakh already signed, sorry Arsenal fans, but that's as good as your getting at striker. maybe two more 7–12m defenders and that should be about it

Arsenal:
In for sure: Chamakh on a free, hardworker, finds the net but not prolific.
savic: had a successful trial at Xmas, will be back up for a season, then will step up.
Strong possibilities:
GK: keepers being looked at are: Lloris, Green, Hart and Neuer. Hart is v unlikely, Lloris would be Wenger's first choice, Green would be a great acquisition but Lloris and Neuer have age on their side. Fabianski to leave for sure. Almunia will stay for one more season to ease in the new signing, and to guide Mannone and Szczesny, who are both international stars of the future.
DEFENCE: With Silvestre and Senderos leaving for sure, and with Gallas still pondering a new contract (he wants 2 yrs, Wenger as per club policy will only offer 1) cover will be needed for Vermaelen. options are Subotic (too much interest Arsenal will be priced out of the market) Sakho (more likely, but a left footer) Zapata (bid for him 2 summers ago but 12m was rejected) Chiellini (good player, but gets into too much trouble, plus he injured RVP so don't know how welcome he would be). one of these will be signed along with Savic. remember, Djourou will be back, Gallas may stay, and Nordtveit may make up the numbers. A RB may be needed as Eboue is increasingly influential in midfield, meaning real cover needed for Sagna. Cue Gregory vdWiel.
MIDFIELD: Merida will leave for Atletico Madrid as he knows he will not displace Fab/Diaby/Nasri/Rosicky. Mark Randall will be allowed to leave.
FORWARDS: As mentioned, Chamakh for sure. Eduardo may be sold as he has never been the same since his injury. Vela will go off on loan for one season as he needs game time. wenger will decide if he needs another striker. we have arshavin nasri rosicky rvp bendtner walcott and eboue who have all played as part of the front 3 in a 4–3–3 formation. options if he does decide to buy are: Agbonlahor (Wenger is long time admirer, tho it will be hard to prise him away from Villa, who are his boyhood team), Lacine Traore (huge, 6'8, good on the ball, great in the air, good goals ratio, would be cheaper than most), Crouch (would be a surprise as he plays for spurs, but u never know), Dzeko (an allround brilliant CF, but may again be priced out), Hulk (huge potential, but not the greatest disciplinary record), Falcao (played well against us in Europe for Porto, again huge potential).
youngsters such as Matthews of Cardiff and Hazard are being looked at, but Hazard has signed a new deal with Lille, so would have to pay over the odds and beat off competition which is unlikely.
leaving: senderos silvestre merida fabianski eduardo randall gilbert, maybe gallas, almunia, vela(L).
Arsene has the money to spend, but he will spend wisely esp in attack, as we have arsha, cesc, rvp, nasri and rosicky – 5 of the best in europe.

Rafa to leave at the end of season almost 90 per cent true and the fans will eventually hav their way wit the yanks. they will go in summer, cause they can't afford to pay the loan by the dead line date.then we can finally start building astronger team and hav a better outlook for the furture of liverpool football club. lfckopite

Danny Welbeck's loan period may well be coming to a premature end at Preston North End.

As Darren Ferguson walked off the Deepdale pitch on Tuesday to a chorus of Boo's from the home crowd after striker Welbeck missed his 3rd match in a row.

Ferguson Jr was informed earlier in the day by Man Utd that the injury suffered by Welbeck may restrict him to the last few games of the season.

Welbeck has already agreed in principal to join Fulham for a season loan as Roy Hodgson has been a great admirer of Welbeck and Fergie Snr see's Hodgson as someone who can get the best out of his young players.

To all the people saying Liverpool will sign Kenwyne Jones, it's not gonna happen. We've already got jovanic, so if we get another striker, it will only be a very big signing, meaning David Villa, Higuain, or David Silva, which will only happen if both the yanks and rafa leave. Most likely big signings are a winger, like Mata or someone around the 20m mark, or a holding midfielder that can fill the hole Xabi Alonso left, probabley Milner. Also, Taiwo will be brought in as all other big clubs have basically given up on him to chase Ashley Cole, Dani Alves, and Phillip Lahm. Finally Car

Squad
Reina
Johnson, Agger, Kjaer, Taiwo
Mascherano, Milner, Gerrard, Mata
Torres, Kuyt (unless sold or better striker brought in)

Outs
Carragher
Kuyt (only if better striker is signed)
Aqualini
Babel(loan)
Lucas (Loan)
Aurelio
Benayoun

Nottingham Forest news now, just heard this off my usual contact who has been so reliable for me in the past.

Doughty has sat down with the acquisitions panel after coming back from a business trip in America. He's had Davies in his ear about loans, especially now we're without McKenna, and he wants cover there and at left back for our end of season run–in.

Enquiries have been made to our old friend at Villa, Martin O'Neill, as well as other Premiership clubs. Konchesky from Fulham is a target at left back, while we're monitoring the comeback of Kieron Gibbs at Arsenal. PSR puts his name to this and will give you more when he hears it.

All these stupid rumours should stop about torres leavin in the summer.Insiders have told me he is determined to win the league with lpool. He has asked for a partner up frnt along side him and Villa, carzola and Llorente have been mentioned by the man himself.Watch this space!! Gerard has been told to up his game or risk losing his england and lpool place.Other players rafa looking at are
Mata, Silva, Milner, Scott brown , van der wiel, taiwo, baye, kjaer , james McCarty , bojan, Riki , bobo , onoha.
I have eard that Villa or mata : taiwo: Milner or mcCarty his main targets and metioned above are other options.
