i have said on here before about ronaldo leaving man utd and last night he went further and insisted he would leave he already told SAF in a phone call on thursday and SAF told him to keep quiet and see him after the cup or otherwise. otherwise being that SAF will hold him ransom for a min of £30m and he would train with the youth team until someone coughs it up. on friday man utd received 4 enquires for ronaldo from real, barca, chelsea and inter, they were all told he is not on offer at this moment in time. SAF is determined to get the best deal and as feared ronaldo spilled the beans, SAF does not care where ronaldo wants to go and will sell to the team who comes up with the best offer wheather its pure cash or a plus players deal.
hi i am a friend of dowie and i know who will be joining charlton this summer, as loan deals for maniche, swp and rossi are very close. a £1.7m deal for lupoli and a £2.4m deal for sidwell are almost complete. while JFH has almost agreed terms and he is in talks with sol campbell but his wages are likely to be to much. he has other irons in the fire, but the only other talks he has mentioned are those with barton but no offer has been made and these are talks sanctioned by man city.
I really hope Man U sign Riquelme as he will be a huge flop in the Premiership and Man U will let Arsenal sign Nuri Sahin from BVB Dortmund. To the guy who said Appiah was to go to Man U if Juve were found guilty get your facts right. He is now at Fenerbache. I also hope Sheva, Ballack, Mikel and Hilario are all flops and Terry, Cech, Lampard and Makele are all injured for the whole season and Chelsea don's win a single trophy.

Zidane's retired, Becks is getting worse, Raul has been really poor, Baptista is no longer wanted by Arsenal and Man U, Robhino is not worth much if he can't get much of a game. And Sergio won't move and its unlikely Inter or Barca will resign Ronaldo and the only other team that can afford him is Chelski who don't want him. And they want to keep Iker as he is a Spanish player and they want a Spanish backbone for the club. For that reason Reyes will not leave Arsenal for any team but Barca(to replace Larsson) and that is unlikely. Aliadiare will be sold to Leicster or Bordeux with Mavumba(U-21 France DM and was voted in the UEFA U-21 team of the year) going the other way. Cygan to Rennes for Jaques Faty(Another U-21 French star) and Djourou will go on loan to FC Basel while Wenger brings Salcido and C. Davies. We have sources that make us believe that Wenger will CERTAINLY not sign Dirk Kuyt. We believe Wenger is up to his old tricks and is using Kuyt as a smokescreen to purchase someone else i.e. Saviola or Trezeguet. We also believe Owen Hargreaves will not move to any club in England because Liverpool don't need him as they have Alonso, Gerrard in a fine partnership and Manchester United won't buy Hargreaves as people are believing the Ronaldo/Rooney/Van Nistelrooy argument has lead to further unstability to the club owned by Glazer. Then there was the Keane falling out and the 90's unit(Giggs,Gary and Phil Neville,Beckham,Scholes,Butt) is a broken force. Also Chelsea don't want him and Arsenal are focusing on youth and maybe will sign Bordeaux midfield workhorse Mavumba who is tipped to be the next Jean Tigana after an excellent performance in the U-21 European Championship, not to mention Javier Mascherano. And Tottenham are considered by Hargreaves that they are a much smaller club which is very true! In fact the major talk in Germany is wheter Nuri Sahin will sign with Chelsea, Manchester United or Arsenal. Chelsea are very unlikely as Sahin knows he will have to struggle to get a game. However it is a toss up between Manchester United and Arsenal. The Gunners have the advantages of having first option on him(Through the Rosicky deal), have scouted him for a longer period of time and can give Jens Lehmann as bait to entice BVB Dortmund just to deal with the Gunners. Also Sahin knows that young players develop far better in London then anywhere else. E.g. Henry, Vieira, Petit, Overmars, Anelka, Cole,Ljunberg and Fabregas. Also Sahin says Rosicky is his idol and wants to follow him. However Manchester United might offer him better finacial deals and with United seemingley lack of midfield players it seems that Sahin will be assured first team football.
Dr Truth (Man Utd fan). I read your long post with amusement because it was not so much a rumour but more your wishful thinking. Half the players you say were originally linked with United but now Arsenal were also linked with Liverpool. Simao was actually sitting on a plane ready to fly to Anfield at the beginning of last season before the deal fell though. And Torres has publicly stated in FourFourTwo magazine that the 2 sides he would be interested in joining in the Premiership were Liverpool and Arsenal. If recent stories in the Press are true 3 or 4 good players have already turned down United, they simply are not the glamour club they think they are and Fergie is definitely losing his touch. The coming season will be very close and any of top four club, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea could win the Premiership. I think Chelsea will find it a lot lot harder this season as their rivals find more ingenious ways to open up their defence.

DRTRUTH - you need to get your facts straight, Man Utd were not linked to Torres and Mascherano before Arsenal. Arsenal have had a long interest in Torres and were credited suitors well before Man Utd entered the picture.
And Arsenal had Mascherano signed the summer before last if Vieira had left then, so they are both very much realistic transfer possibilities, although rumour has it Torres will now stay until January with Atletico. Mascherano was seen wearing an Arsenal t-shirt at a press conference, so is very much realistic.
But if you want to try making things up try Nuri Sahin, agreed to move to Chelsea upon a work permit? He doesn't need one as he has a german passport so that's bull. Agreed to sign for Man Utd for £6million? That's bull too seeming as Arsenal had an £8million bid rejected prior to the World Cup. Not to mention Sahin himself has stated he will probably stay at Dortmund for the first team football.
Rafa will make a 10 million bid for Alves on Monday (10th) and give Seville until midnight to say yes.
If they don't then he will split his final 10 million to get Pennant from Birmingham (4 million) and Klose (6 million plus either Dudek, Zenden or both?).

Again am sick and tired of coming on here to say the same thing all the time. David Villa will not be coming to Liverpool and will neither Simao, Joaquin and Shaun Wright-Phillips. Dirk Kuyt still is a option only if the deal for Daniel Alves falls through which is more than likely now. There is a possible chance they will step up there chase for Jermaine Pennant all though judging by Steve Bruce's comments he wants silly money for him which Rafael Benitez will simply refuse. The man who said Liverpool have 25 million to spend they are right and from sales they have made to possibly more with only 8.5 million really being spent with a possible 25 million still to spend but remember we also have to pay for previous transfers and the on going saga with the stadium is taking are kitty more and more everyday. Liverpool are looking for investment but they have had no joy so far but until then dont expect big name players like the list i made because we simply dont have the funds for them. Although we all know would love them here.

Charlton will sign Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on either monday or tuesday on a £25,000 pw contract for 2 years. The Sidwell deal is looking less likely because Sidwell is worried about Reading fans reaction to him leaving. However if John Madjeski receives the right money from Charlton then the deal is back on. Charlton are also attempting several high profile year long loan signings with names including Shaun Wright Philips, Maniche, Kezman all mentioned. Maniche wants a stay in England, Chelsea 'owe' Charlton a loan after the Smertin debacle with Wright Philips being urged as a decent signing and Kezman fancies another year in England to prove his critics wrong. Astonishingly Charlton and Fulham have both enquired about a number of high profile Italian based players including Luca Toni, Gianluca Zambrotta and Clarence Seedorf. Charlton hope to put in early bids for all three and hope to sign these players before the 'big clubs' come in for them. Zambrotta could leave for less than £3m if Juventus get relegated whereas Seedorf would be a free transfer if a similar situation befell AC Milan. Seedorf would also welcome a re-unite with his mate Hasselbaink.

We all know about the Dani Alves move. Rafa is waiting to see if he can haggle a price of around £10m. This is because if the price goes up any higher then LFC will not be able to buy David Villa. The reason Antonio Barragan is being sold is that so we can raise the extra £2m to pay for Dani Alves. It's clear Rafa doesn't want to sell Barragan because we will have the option of buying him back in 2010 for £5m. The plan is that Rafa will buy Alves then in around 3 years Anderson will be 1st choice RM and Alves will take the too old Finnan's place. Once Alves has signed Rafa will try to sign David Villa. The way this works is complicated: Last season Liverpool could of signed David Villa for £8m but instead pulled out to allow Valencia to have him as Peter Crouch became available. Part of the agreement of pulling out was that at any time Liverpool could try and sign David Villa if Valencia had 1st option on Djibril Cisse or Fernando Morientes. Now Valencia have triggered that clause by buying Morientes for £3.2m. This means LFC can buy David Villa for £18m rather than the £30m other clubs would have to pay.

Owen Hargreaves is another player that SAF is looking at. He would cost £6.5m. Marcos Senna is a definate for £3.5m. United want Torres but his buy out clause is £41.4m but Athletico are understood to be willing to do business for around £25m. Riquelme does not want to go to the premiership so he will probably not come to Old Trafford. If AC Milan get relegated, Gatusso is likely to join United. There is still a possibility for Carrick to join for around £14m and Simao for the same price if Ronaldo leaves. Lennon another possibility for £7m. Mascherano (£15m) and Hargreaves (£8m) will be looked for if Gatusso and Carrick dont come to Manchester. If Ruud Van Nistlerooy leaves which is becoming less likely as he is looking for a new contract since his poor World Cup, Torres (£20+m) will considered or posibly Miroslave Klose from Werder Breman for £15m. If Fletcher does not impress in the South Africa tour, he may go to Everton, Rangers or Blackburn for £3m. Stephan Appiah is a new target from Fenerbace for £6m. To the Rangers fans who seem to think McFadden will sign, there is no chance of this happening. Its common knowledge that the player is Celtic daft and unlike past players ie McCann he won't get a huge increase in wages to move to Ibrox. Instead expect him to either remain at Everton and see out his contract or move to Celic for 1.5 million.
Pompey will sign Peruvian striker Jefferson Farfan in the next 48 hours. They agreed a fee of £10m with PSV (which is his release clause) and he arrived in Portsmouth for talks and a look around on Sunday
Rafa has told the board he wants the couch this time, not the lampshade. This is why he left Valencia. With this in mind Alves will be signed, the board don't want Rafa walking. Only one more player will be signed, this is David Villa. This is 100% true. The Alves deal has stalled for now because all attention is on the Villa deal. Once its known how much this will cost then the Alves deal will be completed quickly. Expect both to be completed before the weekend.

I have real knowledge of Arsenals transfer activity being involved in the club for a long time now, before Wenger even.
Now heres whats going to happen over the summer.
Sol Campbell has left and his replacement will be one of Cannavaro(5m), Davies(6m), Upson(3m) or Woodgate(2m pay-as-u-play deal). This is the short list, I'd put my money on Upson as AW didnt want him to leave in the first place but couldnt guarantee 1st team action, he can now.
Lauren will be sold to Barcelona with Arsenal receiving 2m+Saviola(Lauren rated @4.5m) his replacement eventually will be Eboue but Trabelsi will sign on a 3 year deal for free. Ashley Cole is STAYING, he will be offered a better deal at xmas. Ljungberg will sadly be sold, his best years are behind him and he has really recovered from any of his injuries, expect Valencia, Marseille or Inter to pay 7m for him. His replacement is either SWP or Ribery, SWP is unlikely as Chelski wont sell to EPL rivals but is a target, either one would cost 12m, Ribery may cost less if Freddie goes to Marseille, lets see. Gilberto will be sold to a Spanish team(6m) his replacement being Hargreaves also(6m), Yaya Toure has stated that he would like to play alongside Kolo, the stumbling block in Olympiakos' price they say 10m AW sees 6-7m as a more realistic price, Talks ongoing but still v. possible. As I have already stated Saviola will sign, he is Reyes replacement who will be sold to Real Madrid who will pay £15m+Casillas as Buffon(18m) will be signed by Cappello(along with Ibrahimovic) from Juve, Lehmann may stay for another year but it is possible he will be part of a deal involving Sahin, Adebayor will be loaned out to either NUFC or WHFC and eventually sold. from what i understand, Sir Alex Ferguson is strongly considering a bid for highly rated 20 year old Real Madrid centre back Sergio Ramos. The scottish tactictian is apparently a huge fan of the lad and sees him as a real hot prospect for football in the Premiership for years to come.
