who are the cherries going to sign this summer for our season in the championship I hope we sign Austin

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just take your pick from the players that will contest the Champion's League final. The Super Galactico Cherries can have any of them, after all, they are the greatest team in the history of mankind, EVER!

PS, Austin isn't good enough for you, you need international class players like Falcão and Fabregas. After all, aren't you going to be contesting the Champion's League in 2015-16?

Wow can not understand why everyone is raving about notes done f all in the 15 years he's been at Everton apart from finish above Liverpool once probably twice this year Woop Di do hope he's a manager flop saying that i'd rather have chuckle brothers run club I mean Neville brothers haha useless

Believable0 Unbelievable0

When moyes took over at everton they were relegation candidates narrowly avoiding the drop, he has made them a top six club with very little to spend. he also did a blinding job at preston. {Ed003's Note - how? he got them promoted from league one with a big budget and then failed to get them out of the championship with a big budget.}

Agree0 Disagree0

A big budget doesn't guarantee anything, lee clark had more players than real madrid at huddersfield and couldn't get out of league 1. redknap blew a stack at qpr and they went down. lbenitez blew a fortune to make liverpool average. moyes is top class

Partick Thistle cannot obtain damages from McNamara because the compensation clause was not a reasonable pre estimate of loss. Major blunder by Board. His claim on the other hand is contractual and likely to succeed.

Everton shortlist
Martin O'Neill
Roberto Martinez
Roberto Di Matteo
Harry Redknapp
Rafa Benitez
Malky Mackay

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Martin ONeil will be lucky to get a job in the championship, spent loads of cash at Sunderland and would have taken them down had he stayed, poor choice.

Agree0 Disagree0

O'Neill? No, he's becoming more useless by the week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mackay would be a great shout, be dangerous with a wee bit extra cash taht he would not get at Cardiff. Even though they are saying he wil get the 20 million to spend.

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon his transfer kitty would be bigger if he stays rather than boss the toffees. Mind you, it will need to be!

Being a Celtic supporter I feel your pain. We had Caldwell for years and the amount of points he cost us with his mistakes. You would be challenging for Europe if it was not for him, how many penalties has he given and sending offs has he had?

The biggest problem if DM leaves is the stability he has given us, that coupled with the risk of losing Baines and Fellaini!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Baines & Fellaini would be likely to follow Moyes to OT. Especially Baines as Evra is past his peak. Fellaini is good but not as good as United would need, plus he has disciplinary issues sometimes.

With the recent (and delightful) relegation of Peterborough and now Sir Alex's resignation from United, the way is clear now for the appointment of the vile entity that is Ferguson Jnr to the big job at Old Trafford.

Who said nepotism is dead. ?

I think Mourinho would be a better choice than Moyes. Moyes hasn't got the pedigree in Europe, or the competition record that Mourinho has.

The only drawback with Mourinho is he's not likely to be as committed in the long term as Moyes would be. José gets itchy feet. That might not suit United at all.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah, Moyes would be a better fit I think.

Seems to me that 99% of city fans have turned against Chris Hughton which in my opinion is totally unfair. This is what I think.

1. Hughtons record at Newcastle -

1 Newcastle United P46 W30 D12 L4 F90 A35 GD+55 P102 . I don't think this shows the performance of a negative tactictian. What it does show is that he had players who could play an attacking formation and score goals without the defence suffering. I doubt he has forgotten these tactics overnight.

2. Our squad sucks, sad but true we have the worst players in the league. How many of our players would get a regular starting place in other PL sides? 2 or 3 maybe.

3. he's very pleasant even if he likes to answer his own questions :)

I do agree that the football this season has been awful to watch (I even fell asleep during one match) but as another poster on here said "hes working with what he's got". So to all of you who say he should be sacked even if we stay up. LOL Delia and Mcnally will shake his hand and say "thanks for the 90 mill mission accomplished" Because that's all this season was about. Next season will be better when the dead wood is gone and new faces brought in. In the event that we go down (which is looking slightly less likely now that Swansea beat Wigan) we get 16 mill in parachute payments so we'll bounce right back.

I'm not saying CH is perfect, I think the january transfer window was a real f#*k up but there are other factors to take into consideration
