We don't think we're signing everyone. since the club said we're looking to bring in 7/8 players ( which is not happening) we've just been linked with a load of people we don't want.

peter odemwingie will still be a wba player this season. no club will match his hi valuation and wages to match from england and he is refusing to move abroard.
I think steve clarke despite his disrespect for the club in recent months will be quietly pleased odemwingie is staying as he still rates the forward and he doesn't pay his wage.

Odds for relegation have shortened dramatically on West ham in the past week. Do the bookies know something we don't. Sam Allardyce wanted to use the match last night against sporting lisbon as a bench mark to see where his team lies. Well Sam, I can tell ya. You don;t have a striker that's premier league standard (including carroll) and despite being linked with every striker under the sun and wasting £15m on Andy Carroll you still have the same problem of goals. Whereas Norwich, Swansea, Newcastle (and in the next few days SOuthampton, Fulham, Sunderland and WBA) will all have strengthened up front before the season starts.

According to rumour mill, West Ham and the albion were both interested in Matej Vydra however, its now emerged that West Ham were never interested. Its the mighty Albion that have made a formal offer for Vydra and Scott Sinclair who were both long time west ham targets. Looking more and more bleak for the hammers this season as each striker passes them by. I have no doubts they are in for a long hard season battling against relegation. Stupidest move ever buying Carroll And I can see hammers having a new manager by christmas
