03 Jun 2012 21:56:45
Right lets clear a few things up.
Stoke fans (presumably under 12): Stop posting unrealistic targets you make us all look stupid. We know what positions we need to get in, but we all know Pulis will have his targets will act late and we will end up with the dregs.
I would like to see a winger and maybe a couple of loan signings as Coates doesnt like to spend his money. Although i feel Pulis has stated his intentions with contract renewals for both Sidibe and Woodgate.

All other fans:
We do not profess to be a massive club, we only wish others would realise they arent either.
You have been saying we will go down since we came up, and yet we are still here. The people who keep posting this are likely fans of the bottom three usual suspects who hope that next year it is us and not them.
We also dont require you to keep putting, 'Stoke wont buy ? as they dont play football'. I am a season ticket holder at Stoke and can say with pride, that whilst it may not be the most beautiful football at the Brit it makes for more entertaining viewing than some clubs in the premier league.

Bit of GENUINE news from Stoke over the weekendA few outs first

West Ham knocked back in their enquiry re Jones as unable to meet the asking price. QPR or Turkey seems his next destination. The Hammers are interested in keeper Thomas Sorensen though who of course won't be at the Euros. He has had an offer from a German club as well.

Ipswich struggling to meet Danny Collins' demands. Stoke want to sell not loan again.

A Spanish player very much on the radar

Stoke waiting on a Spurs signing which will release a player to the Potters after a deal previously agreed.

Jarvis still very much on Stoke's radar although no fee agreed after the publicised rejection of Cameron Jerome to move the other way. Player is keen to join Stoke by all accounts.

The Huth situation still very much up in the air.

Jake Kean interesting Stoke as are two other Blackburn players.

Owen has held Stoke talks

A Man U squad player could go to the Britannia(Updates on Thursday)

Believable5 Unbelievable0

I wouldnt mind these but not so sure about owen, feel he could be another update, is the united player anderson? and the blackburn players hilett and nzonzi?

Agree0 Disagree0

Am at the ground on Thursday so will update more.

Defoe is wanted by several clubs but has agreed in principal to join Stoke. A few players to leave before incomings begin but no real big names. Jones and Etherington could be the two to spark the transfer activity. The United player am not 100% one- have heard 3 different names mentioned. The two Blackburn players I believe are defenders. Talk today that an Everton player has become available.......a player Stoke tried to sign previously.

wish our stoke fans would stop talking rubbish, were not going spend a fortune coates said last year he wants it self sustained club, get a few out fuller and co then a few free ones in maybe owen if he takes pay as you play contract, jarvis if wolves come in to the real world and realise there a championship club and he aint worth 10 mill, as for demba ba why would he join us when we told him where go before!! anderson for 9 mill from man u thats a joke, from someone reliable we know says were looking at park ji sung, a pulis player that works hard and a good commercial deal sounds more realistic to me, baines for 20 mill lol not this year maybe olson from blackburn and pulis also likes there cm but all depends if we sell a few jones, collins etc

Craig levein to be sacked by sfa if they don't win first two games for wc.he has no passion in the squad, all players should be singin the anthem before the match even if they are English,u play for Scotland we want to see ur passion.he should also get s fletcher in the squad he and Jordan Rhodes are the way forward.he is not good with the media either.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Perhaps this is why Scotland keep doing so badly if the team is selected on its ability to sing the national anthem. Why not try Moira Anderson on the wing or Kenneth McKellar at centre forward etc etc ?

Agree0 Disagree0

That's not the point I just don't see the passion in the team they need to be proud to wear the jersey and to be honest it's not hard to get a Scotland cap half the team is now English who probably never thought they'de be playing for Scotland.

Aston Villa now have Paul Lamvertas our Manager, honestly not my 1st choice but I'm not always one for a gamble.

Pedigree:Young/Innovative/Thinking man/Tactical awareness - with the ability to changes things during a game based on his innovative assesment of the game in Real Time! MON pls learn

Outs: /Nzogbia/Dunne/Collins/Warnock/GabbyDelph/Makoun/Hutton

Ins:Lukkaku/Sturridge/Carro 1 0f 3/N.Redmond/Ince/Lindergard/Dembelle/Richards

Promote and utillize in 1st 11: Samir Carruthers - an untapped gem waiting to be given the plaform to show the world his anilities in an AVFC jersey, Bannan -Quality, but needs to develop with top quality players around him to prone his skills an d allow confidence to be the norm, Garnder/Herd & Clark -Big things await.

We'll get more for our Sterlin if spent abroad on young scouted pure talent.
For the price we paid for Bent we could have had 3 top young players.

Even though weve said we dont want a FD, we could no no wrong installing F.Arnesen as he would scoot the globe for top talent to justify his importance -but should always be done in liason with PL

Getting a bit tired of all of these green eyed monsters who are writing Reading off even before a ball has been kicked. Noone gave us a chance 5 years ago, but we still ended up 8th, taking points off of the top 4. People call Reading a small club. What defines a small club? Winning trophies in the last ten years? That would make only Man Utd, Man CIty, Chelsea and Arsenal a big club. Owing a large sum of money? That would make everyone a big club except Reading. A big reputation? Successful in the past? That would make clubs like Luton and Portsmouth big clubs.
Reading are a big a club as probably half of the Premiership clubs who in turn are on a par with the top half of the Championship clubs. RFC ar now one of he top 10 richest clubs, which not on its own makes them a big club, but the financial backing which is going to make Readings infrastructure unrivalled and enviable in years to come. Reading are a club in the ascendancy - Europe , here we come

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Small club now and always, get out the clouds, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Just ignore the jealous idiots, it happens to every promoted team (prem and championship) who, god forbid, are not 'big' (I.e. arrogant and overrated). Good luck next season, you will do fine.

Sounds like the wheels are well and truly off at Carrow Road!

My source at the club tells me that a group of players have requested to meet with McNally early next week to discuss their futures. Jonny Howson is understood to be a ringleader, as he was given assurances Lambert would remain as manager for at least another 2 years and will put in a transfer request next week. There'll be no shortage of suitors.

Believed to be on the short list for the managers job are Eddie Howe, Brian McDermott (dream on), Simon Grayson and Glenn Hoddle.
