fergie get the money out big summer signings needed in centre midfield. too many defensive there at moment.need lampard type player 10-15 goals per season. also needed back up top quality striker to compliament rooney hernandez

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Fergie got to retire soon - man u finished then - seriously. Hes the one thing that has given them prominennce won't be repeated ever. Happy 70th Fergie from (wait fo it) a respecting Liverpool fan. Hope and expect Man U though to fall mamouthly from grace after you have gone!

Agree1 Disagree3

Little pea has been sussed out now mate Rooney is the only thing goin for utd now I can see them slipping further and further away, a major influx of players is needed now

Agree2 Disagree1

You're saying that Fergie is past it but liverpool brought back the so called 'king' Kenny Daglish and the only things he has done this time round is buy a £35 million flop that makes Torres look like Chelsea's star player

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes me laugh liverpool were goin backwards till kenny came back. This seasons about rebuilding next year you can judge him

not a rumour only banter but if celtic/rangers had the same investment as the championship recieves they would stroll it!

Believable4 Unbelievable1

The English conference is their best shot! Let's face it the best forward in either of the too sides (the one wearing the hoops - and there is a clue for his name there too) came already from a conference side. He never moved up a level to go to Glasgow he only went north on the compass bearing!

why do man utd need sneijder, madrid got rid, inter want rid,he could be the bad apple, that sinks utds boat.utd gotta go for proven premier league quality, plenty about tom huddlestone ,bale ,whiltshire, even play rooney in c/m role .also need to get fox in box striker 25 goal season man like
bent defoe torres

Believable3 Unbelievable0

If he is the bad apple then sign him. I bet old red nose would retire.....hopefully.

For everyone that says Craig Whyte is being tight ... he is fullfilling his promise. He said he would invest £25m over 5 years. David Murray sold him the club on a number of promises and that was one of them. Also, it was a shiny £1 coin that craig whyte gave him.

He may not be spending big but he never said he would ...

at the end of the day, were no better off than what we were with Sven. Atleast we tried to win when we played. Too many people seem not bothered on the pitch, and they need to go in january!

How many times are Saints going to mess up and West Ham no take advantage. starting to think this just might be Southamptons year.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Have you forgotten about the other teams closing the gap?Middlesbourgh,Cardiff and Reading 2,5+8 points behind. You look like another team who are going to blow a large championship lead in the new year.

Agree1 Disagree2

We will see, all i am saying past 5 or 6 games we have been terrible yet we are still top of the league, yes teams have closed the gap but if other clubs took real advantage of our bad run then Saints would be sitting 3rd or 4th. We will strenghten our squad like all the other teams chasing promotion so it is going to be a close tough finish COYR

Agree3 Disagree0

How many times will west ham muck up and saints not take advantage

ed what do you think of big Samaras from Celtic {Ed001's Note - not a lot, he has some ability, but he doesn't use it often enough for my liking. He is not someone you can rely on to perform week in, week out, over the course of a season.}

Coventry look set to sell Jutkiewicz to Southampton for £1.5 million.

Coventry owners wanted to keep the highly rated forward but are being forced to sell because fans' boycotts are thought to be costing the club money.

Although fans' boycotts haven't cost the club a significant sum yet, owners SISU have projected the boycott costs forwart to the end of the season and fear a large drop in revenue.

At the very time the club is battling for survival, it is bitterly ironic that stayaway fans are causing more damage than SISU's cost-cutting measures

Before manchesrer uniited sold ronaldo for £80million they were apparently offered. One of wesley sneijder, van der vaart and robben + £40-50million, if manchester united are as interested in sneijder as its reported wouldnt we have got him when we could have ?
