We Leeds fans may be 'deluded' but at least we have our own team with history to support, and having been a supporter of that team for 45 years, and having lived in MK before MK was even thought of, I know the facts.

I watched Wimbledon play their last game at Selhurst Park and felt gutted for the REAL Wimbledon fans who lost their team that day.

We have won more trophies than you ever will, and despite our financial problems still are a more stable club than MK Dons will ever be, look at our average gates for proof of that.

I would rather pay £100 plus to travel and watch Leeds at home than get a bus up to the MK stadium and watch a team that was poached from someone else?

No reason why Mr Winkleman and Co couldn't have got behind Bletchley FC or Any other local team and pumped money in and done it the hard way like Reading, and now Crawley.

Just some much easier to steal someone elses team and the glory and then pretend you all know everything about us 'real' supporters who have stuck behind our team through the good and BAD times, without a thought of taking the easy option.

Give us credit and respect where it is due, and you might get some back, one day.

Call us deluded, and we will point out, again and again, that supporting a real football clyb, with history AND aspirations, isn't 'delusion'.

We AREN'T famous any more, in your eyes, but then you never have been?

I'd rather still go and watch Cobblers, or Luton, or even Oxford City, when I can't get to a Leeds game.

They too have their history.....

... I can remember when your ground was owned by a company called Beacon Brushes....

Which is more than I can say about any of your players/managers/etc, etc...

Believable3 Unbelievable2

"History" - the argument of the desperate. Forest fans have banged this drum for years and it seems Leeds fans are going to copy them, exactly how does your history help you today? Forest are staring at relegation and you lot are stuck in the championship, you've got a lot of history, is that worth an extra 12pts then?

Believable3 Unbelievable3

like the look of MK Don's Charlie MacDonald - 30 years old, decent goalscoring record, bit of a journeyman (joined the Dons last summer from Brentford for just £35k) but we wouldn't need Sordell or Mariappa sold to accomodate for the transfer fee nor will he demand hefty wages. if Iwelumo was worth a punt, surely he would be too?

How can any celtic fan think hoopers better than jelavic! Jelavic is a croation international whos prove he can score at the highest level, the only reason jelavic hadnt scored against celtic is he was injured for 4 months last season and only gt to play in two or three! If the guy was playing his trade in england he would be getting sold for 15 million not ten!

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Hooper isn't a Croatian international cos he isn't Croatian. If Jelavic was English would he get into the England team ? think not !

Jelavic did score against Celtic last season when we beat them in the cup from viess pass .

I know saints are doing so badly, I mean second in the league and only two signings, what are they doing, couldn't beat a side with there 4 best players missing and there clearly going to finish outside the play-offs with all there players coming back, could only draw with a full strength in form millwal side with loads of players rested. I know lets slag them off at every opportunity even though our own club is about to go out of business.

Well we should get at least two for that money, so long as its Pearce and Ward that's fine because their like siamese twins where one goes the other goes, it makes sence for them two as they could settle in quicker being together, if Henderson is part of the deal that's a bonus, so if their team mates are calling them Tractor Boys already then lets get them in

Believable0 Unbelievable1

"Where Pearce goes ward goes" "they're like siamese twins". Pearce was at Bournemouth last season and ward wasn't! They have only been together this season so what are you talking about?

As a Leeds fan I agree with people about getting behind the players and club, but come on lets be serious now! Bates is clearly ambitious and wants what we all want, and to be fair to him he has done a great job in stablising us, but we are a selling club at the minute!
The majority of the players we have are not going to get us into the premier league when you look at the squads of the other clubs at the top!
We need to build a solid, reliable and experienced spine to the team, which we can't possiblly have with what we have already! I mean we don't have a wise old head in the centre midfield! Look at our three greatest teams. They had Bremner, Batty and finally Batty and Dacourt! That is somewhere we need to strengthen and spend on! We score enough but we need to sort out the defence. So use the money we have from Howson to get someone for instance like Bowyer.
I think what is frustrating the leeds fans most ins't the lack of transfers at the moment, it is the apparent lack of ambition in who we are going for!
Why not take a punt on upson, smith or even Tevez, even if we offer them a bag of peanuts and a copy of FHM a week at least the fans would begin to belive again!

Believable1 Unbelievable2

What do you mean use the Howson money, Bates won't be giving that to Grayson, it's been spent already on his new house

reported in Sunday Post, that Rangers still owe Rapid money on the Jelavic transfer and that there is either a 20 or 25% sell on clause, etc, also rumoured that Rapid would not do business over Salihi, even though he was offered to many clubs, but they would be reluctant to deal with Rangers {Ed001's Note - I thought it had already been paid, as UEFA would have to stop Rangers being able to deal in the transfer market if Rapid complained about them not paying within the terms set out. As the final payment was due months ago, I am pretty sure a complaint would have been made by now.}

ok here it is celtic rangers two of the biggest supported clubs in the world if they both had the money that the premiership gets off SKY who knows how well they do wouldnt win the league all the time if not ever but would do well in england with all the milloins these clubs get for just being in that league also only 4 clubs have won the premiership utd have been dominant force in england also i think english clubs would fear the old firm would get bigger in england fact but it doesnt stop english clubs bringing them down for friendlies also celtic home record in europe is top 3 in europe hail hail
