Norwich are to approach their local council to move the library from carrow road in order to create an atmosphere there.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

They could create more of an atmosphere by moving the library to Carrow road

Agree0 Disagree0

Even if ipswich sign 100 players ,you may just beat the drop
and talking of libraries ,what about portman rd ? you can hear a pin drop after ten minutes when the other team have scored their 4 goal

Some supporters want to to actually WATCH the game, and not sing girly songs which none can understand.Get over it or go and watch SPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Norwich- Spl errr isn't that one and the same?

Citys defence is rubbish, clichy, kolarov, lescott?could be the reason they don't win the title, chelsea and Liverpool lack pace, uniteds midfield is questionable,Anderson, carrick?? Gonna be a rollercoaster of a season,I'm tipping city, united, chelsea,Liverpool in that order, with arsenal and spurs chasing.

Steve McLaren has been
overheard saying to his
chairman that he believes
Giorogos Samaras will solve
their inability to score
goals. If they do not
succeed in this then they
will turn their attention to
out of favour ipswich
striker Tamas Priskin.

could someone please shed light on whether or not we sighed the young mexican player who was coming for 10 week trial?
Sorry if i am in wrong area to ask question and that i can't remember his name

Thxs

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And the name of the team helps

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes,I've forgotten his name as well but presumably you are meaning the young Mexican lad supposedly coming on trial to Liverpool. Any developments on this does anybody know?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep,he is that good you dont even know his name but if you sign him , im sure it means the good old days are back and liverpool will win everything , clutching at straws me thinks.

Agree0 Disagree0

So asking a question is saying the glory days are back.what an idiot,so what if he forgot his name give him a break and get a life

suarez looks class, liverpool will struggle to keep him next summer, but adam and henderson look out of their depth, they would do better at a lesser club with less ambition, carroll lacks pace and is no better than duncan ferguson, liverpool do need better if they want to win titles, top 4 is a possible, depends on what happens in the rest of the transfer window.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Struggle to keep him from who? City, Chelsea and United won't get him. They have enough top strikers as it is, and he would want to play every game. Same with Barca and Real. He isn't a money grabber. He will stay for many years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't they say the same about torres once? Either Liverpool succeed and offer suarez mega wages or someone else will,we all know it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres stayed for 4 years though despite Chelsea putting bids in for him. He will stay longer than until next summer, then if Liverpool don't win anything he will go for a good amount.

Agree0 Disagree0

Adam has been excellent so far for Liverpool.....What you on about you whopper?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes,Adam has been excellent,I agree. Original poster is way off beam on this one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Adam has been excellent? we all know that liverpool fans love their club more than their family and are very blind and deluded and keep the faith with players way too long, but adam has been very quiet, im not surprised nobody defended henderson and carroll, they are proper rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

Proper rubbish haha what an idiot, its still early days and your having a go.get a grip,ok we havnt been amazing yet,but we have been ok.we can only get better

Ipswich Town FC are on the verge of signing 24
year old french defender Valentin Roberge from CS
Maritimo for an undisclosed fee after he passed his
medical yesterday.
Valentin Roberge was an ever present figure in
the heart of the Maritimo defence last season.
Ipswich Town FC are also thinking about making
offers to Ibrahima Sonko, Jiř?? B??lek and the 27 year old MK Dons Captain Dean Lewington.

Come on JWM, you can do better than that. nothing about Lewington anywhere, just someone you want us to sign. Why not mention that Bullard is set to sign? At least there is truth in that

They are giddy with a good start and all championship teams are going to love it when there from dips. Peaked way to early.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen - to all the other supports, Saints are not interested in all the players mentioned on this site, some have been added by non Saints Supporter.
The one thing i will say, is that the players being bought now are for next season so they have beded in nicely for when we get promoted.
Football is a squad game if you have a good squad then changing players during the season is seemless and you just carry on winning just like Man Utd.
So watch out for the new Saints.
Run by a Chairman who does the things in the right way.
A Manager who motivates his team.
Coaching staff that get the players just right for each match.
A youth Accademy that's the best in England.
With a team now that has that hunger for success too win.

To the deluded Norwich fans that think they have half a chance of staying up. What was the score last night you halfwits? wake up and smell the coffee .Your squad is nowhere near strong enough for the prem. You'll be playing the tracter boys next season without a doubt(if they manage to stay up)

Believable9 Unbelievable6

We made 11 changes That should tell you we don't give a toss about the 'sideshow' Carling Cup.I wouldn't expect a prat like you to figure that out. There's one born every minute.

I'd love to see Hoileet signed from Blackburn as our pacey striker wit guile, He's played on the wing and seems to have a good cross on him and he's also capable of playing upfront. Youth and a bit of gulie that can produce infront of goal and actually do something when workin the channels.....get him signed

Loving how all saints fans think that their team is the best in the league, and adam lallana is the best player in the league. Wake up, your on a run of form yes.. but in all fairness you have a play-offs squad AT A PUSH. once your players dip in form (very soon) down the league you go to an eventual finish of around 9th.. rant over :D

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I think most Saints' fans will think 8th or 9th would be a good effort in their first season back.

Leeds did well to finish 7th - Saints may do the same.

Same old, Same old. Sunderland knocked out of the 1st round of a cup. We need scorers asap, GYAN is lazy and will go has soon has another club comes in for him. CAMPBELL is long a term injure and others are for the furture. We have been linked with Papiss Demba Cisse, Craig Bellamy, Roque Santa Cruz, Peter Crouch plus others. We need to offload Marcos Angeleri, Nyron Nosworthy, George McCartney, Matthew Kilgallon and Craig Gordon. Has club is trying to reduce the wage bill. 1st four will never player for Sunderland again. Has a fan I can see like all fans what the club needs. 2 Strikers and a left Wing and Left back. Has for Martin O'Neil been linked with the club. Rubbish. The club has 11 new players, it will take time for them to gel, So be patient. See where the club is in March. And no improvement then you can question Steve Bruces has the man to take the club forward.

To the stoke twit slagging norwich off, wind your neck in pal.We didn't even know your lot were there until you scored.Even with help from your ref it took till injury time against ten men.Up to the sending off we were comfortable. But I think you know that.Stick to UFC & singing that stupid Tom Jones number.

Believable3 Unbelievable15

We'll see old son. But the score last night might show you that your squad is nowhere near strong enough to stay up.
You lot looked like the away team for much of the game on sunday, even before the red card. Strangely the Stoke fans felt that the ref was a home boy and that the free kick that led to your goal was never a foul. That me old mate is football and why we get so passionate about it.I have been on the wind up a bit but don't mean Norwich any offence and would quite like them to stay up.That said I seriously don't believe from sunday's game that they create enough chances to win many games. bl**dy carrot crunchers. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Not giving it the big one anymore norwich? ha ha even Delia's quiet, enjoy your one season in the prem

Agree0 Disagree0

In the first half stoke werent that good and they were no where near as good as they can play but second half stoke dominated and we created a loud more chances then norwich. if it wasnt for your goalkeeper then it might of even been 3 but you cant say that it wasnt a red card because he was through on goal and denied a goalscoring oppurtunity and i know you were hard done by because it was outside the penalty area and at parts of the game you could barely hear the norwich fans

Agree0 Disagree0

Turn your hearing aid up next time.

Agree0 Disagree0

It wasn't a great performance by either team but you have to admit Norwich scored from their only real attempt. You were at home and sat back for much of the game.I have to agree, I was expecting more of an atmosphere from Naaarch, but only the stand off to the right of the stokies actually made any noise.I'm always a bit suspicious of grounds where they have to play music after a goal to get the crowd going.

Agree0 Disagree0

You could be mutton jeff and hear a pin drop in that place old son.

And your team is better Against you we was without our best defender Antolin Alcaraz, our best midfielder was injured James McCarthy, we were missing a winger thus Jordi Gomez playing their and our main striker was not match fit and only played for like 25mins in Hugo Rodallega

Our squad is so much better than yours

--

This comment really does show what a s**t club Wigan really are. Their fans have to turn to the promoted clubs to find anyone they can talk down to and boast too. Of course you are going to have a stronger squad, you are an established premier league team, but that doesnt stop the fact that we held our own with a very new team, first game back in the prem, away from home. We outsung you, embarassed the smattering of fans you actually have and took a deserved point from the game.

McCarthy wasnt injured, he passed a fitness test and played. He was running freely and played well, didnt look to be suffering at all. All teams have injuries, suspensions etc, its part of football. Face it, you are a tinpot club bankrolled to the premier league. When the self sufficiency rules come into place you are going to struggle with your poor attendances where as we will flourish with our sell out crowds week in, week out, home and away. its only a matter of time. Im not saying we are going to Europe etc, but we will establish ourselves in the prem, much the same way as West Brom have done. We play in the right way, have a young team, a cracking manager and a massive support.

So Mr mansour is buying the league,so much for uefa financial rules, city are spending more money than they actually make, its the false position that people dislike, its a bit like a young kid giving it large with his flash sports car, just to find out his dad paid for it,kinda takes the gloss of it.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Its the way its always been , clubs always spend above thier means
Blackburn did it , Chelsea did it etc so why the issue with Man City doing it?? Thier fans have been up and down the leagues , they deserve a bit of success

Agree0 Disagree0

Deserve it? When they help create a over inflated transfer market that is destroying the game, its not the fans thought but its the fans who End up paying for Mr balotelli's flash new car.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen, you still don't get it. It's a rumour site so some people will have their fun.
As previously said, the players Saints are really interested in will only happen when and if the management want it to happen.
You can name all the players in the world as coming to Southampton. But most likely the name you leave off is the player we will sign.
So don't get upset by the gentlemen starting the rumours.
Wait until the end of this month to see who the management really buys.
