Paul Cook at ChesterfieldFC will make or break his career solely on releasing Jack Lester who already has 3 offers in Division 2. Widely considered to be wreck less decision for a player with legendary status

I don't understand the point of playing our a bunch of established international player against a team like San Marino, we may as well name a whole team of debutes and players who have have barely had a chance and let them play I would have loved to have seen: Forster (Celtic), Clyne (Soton), Tayler (newcastle), Caulker (Spurs), Gibbs (Arsenal), Lallana (Soton), Noble (West Ham), Osman (Everton), Jarvis (West Ham), Lambert (Soton) Hooper (Celtic) we're not exactly gunna lose the game so worth a try as these are all fringe player/debutants and deserve a chance and it would've rested other key player for the Montengro game which is much more important! {Ed034's Note - because it would have been disrespectful to do that and because goal difference might come in to play

They could have changed the side at half time giving debutants a chance . also add leon britton swansea to that list

Agree1 Disagree2

Those players metioned above are simply not good enough to play for england

Agree3 Disagree3

Players not good enough? the present eleven are hardly world cup winners. The difference between the present side and the team of 66 is the latter were grafters.Get some grafters in like the above nentioned players and who knows we might win the world cup again

Agree0 Disagree1

With those players mentioned we couldn't win an egg cup

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no point fielding a team of debutants but mixing one or two in may not have been a bad thing.

I think if Town were going to sign anyone else this season they would have done it by now.

Yes they should have given it to a team with 3000 fans

Agree3 Disagree2

They should use it as an athletics venue, that is what it is for. If it loses money, demolish it. It was only for the Olympics anyway. White elephant now. West Ham should not get, in fact no club should. Turn it into a multi-purpose venue like the O2 millennium dome.
