Never been to impressed with sturridge, either at city or chelsea, only time he did any good was at bolton, so perhaps it's a good idea to go to a small club with less expectations.

Not a rumour as such but I'd like to see saints clear decks of: do prado, de Ridder, mayuka, boruc, chaplow. Can't see on loan players like Barney and Hammond having a future at Saints either.
Love to see Billy back.
Like to see players such as Biglia, hooper and Dawson at st Mary's.
We looked very weak against Sunderland yesterday and meed to use window wisely.

We really need to sort it out in January or we will 100% be going down. We NEED a new CB with premier league experience, Yoshida has made too many mistakes and has cost us. We definitely need a new GK, personally I think Gazzaniga is brilliant but definitely not ready for the Premier League just yet. I say we buy a GK with Premier League experience aka Craig Gordon (free agent) and then loan Gazzaniga out to a Championship side for the rest of the season, using Davis as backup. We also need another wide man, De Ridder did well yesterday but I still think we could do with one that could actually start the match incase of any injuries in the squad. Tom Ince looks like he's on his way back to Liverpool so we won't be signing him however Tom's teammate Matt Phillips is fantastic. I remember going to an FA Cup game a few seasons ago at St. Marys against Blackpool when Matt was only 19 and I new he was going to be a fantastic player and I think he would be a superb signing for the Saints in January.
