Absolute tosh, small budget ? who are u kidding , you are one point above Norwich who's wage bill is approx 1/3 of Stokes and probably 1/10th of Man U and the like.
Stoke have a rich benefactor who is currently subsidizing your rise in premiership, don't get fooled about how good Pulis is,You have guys on £40K/week Crouch, Pennant, Shawcross etc so there has been considerable investment. Without doubt the 2 most successful managers in premier league right now are Lambert & Rodgers since both have shown that they can put out a very competitive team in premier with minimal spending I suspect both will go on to manage a major top 6 side in the future.

It's probably better we are liquidated as each day of not knowing who owns your club, how much money we owe and to who is getting to much.

Ok, here goes
I have very good information that Huddersfield are doing a deal with Celtic for the transfer of Jordan Rhodes in the summer.
Nigel Clibbens has apparently had talks with Celtics Peter Lawell about a link up between the clubs.
This deal would see Rhodes transfer to Celtic in the close season, the fee is still being discussed!
As part of the deal Huddersfield will have access to Celtics young players and fringe players with Celtic picking up the majority of wages. I think this would be a great deal for Huddersfield, rather than a big one off fee, a regular flow of players would be better in the long term.
Will tell more as i find out!
___________
Good lord I hope we don't form a link with Celtic, would seem strange to link up with an english championship level club that play in a league that compares to englands league 1!

It's remarkable the amount of embittered Southampton fans there are on here. Do you get Pompey fans doing the same? I for one can't be bothered to read about them, let alone ranting whilst hiding behind my computer on their posts. Every Pompey fan I know, wanted Southampton to get promoted last year, so we can play each other, and enjoy some amusing banter. I was at the derby and it was all good natured, and a bit of a laugh between the two sets of fans. On here though, you get some right psychos, who abuse the fact that they have anonymity. Apologies for the lack of news in this post, but I think it's needed to point out the limitations of these tribal numbskulls.

When Celtic got to Seville in UEFA cup final we took over 250,000 fans, we won both FIFA and UEFA Fair Play Awards. I'm going to ask 2 question. 1 now and 1 at the end of this post.
How do you define a clubs size? All this talk over Celtic, Southampton, how are you judging it. Money, fan base, fans at the match, past performance, current performance, potential future performance, size of ground.... etc ?
While you're thinking, I'll ask the 2nd question.
Apart from little boys and men with small tackle, who cares about size? Isn't it all about where you are in the league? {Ed013's Note - Ask the women out there, I'm sure they will have a comment on size!}
