Burnley are set to turn back to West Ham and go for Junior Stanislas. The clarets are looking at a permanent deal but the Hammers may only been keen on a loan deal.

Like Zavon Hines, Stanislas has suffered from injuries and not held down a regular first team place. After seeing Hines turn down a contract at the Hammers to try and re-ignite his career, Stanislas may consider doing the same and Eddie will use that to tempt him.

Burnley fans feel this would be a good signing, however when recovered from injury the clarets would then have Jay Rodriguez, Martin Paterson, Charlie Austin, Zavon Hines, Danny Ings, Junior Stanislas and Keith Treacy all as attacking options, not to mention Wade Elliott and Ross Wallace. Surely the priority must be sorting out our leeky defence.

I was at Carrow road yesterday to see Stoke earn a late but very much deserved point. When TP makes the signings that we need to strengthen then I think Stoke will push on and improve on last season.Norwich don't look to me like a team that can stay up.They don't create many chances and for most of the game looked like the away team.Their crowd was very poor too.If you want to experience a proper atmosphere you need to come to the Bear pit you carrot crunchers. It was like a scene from the deliverence coming to that place.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

I am a Norwich fan and I agree Stoke were much the better team and deserved to win yesterday. I agree that we won't stay up and that we are no better than a championship team. It was like a library at Carrow road yesterday appart from the Stoke fans who were brilliant.Championship here we come.

I am Dellia.... {Ed003's Note -Fantastic mate, but for obvious libel reasons it cant be posted,tweek it a little}

Agree0 Disagree0

I am Delia and I agree that Naaaaarch are s**te. As is my cooking. I am thinking of changing my name to Delilah as a tribute to the Stoke fans who were so much better than than the mutants that turn up at Carrow road in those bloody awful yellow shirts. If I were chairperson at Naaaaaaaarch
I'd change the kit to something sensible :like red and white stripes.

this is my opinion if neither side of the old firm qualify for europa league group stages on thursday they will not attract any decent players this transfer window and the foreseeable future due to the strength of the championship

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Rangers made the Q.F stage of the Europa league last season. And stayed in as long as any EPL team.Manchester City going out at the same stage. And Rangers have signed up all there better players on five year deals.Who cares what the English think about us.1 0 is all we need and we are through. We have beaten better teams than them.

If Arsenal have 70m to spend y not sign McGregor
£9m, tho signed new contract, Alex/Cahill
10m/15m, Keita 5m, Milner(swap with Nasri see if
man city agree), and last but not least a striker is
needed i would go for Rodallega/Jelavic £10m
feel they could do a job with quality around them

To city fan who said this is best norwich spuad in 35 years watching city. The teams we had that finished 3rd 5th 6th went to 2 fa cup semi finals are much better than the one we have 2day. With players like bowen, culvehouse, fleck, sutton, eadie gordon newsome, watson, fox, millagan, thownsend linagan adams, etc would all walk into are team 2day. Lambert could not have done better job, lets not get carried away

My point is in my Opinion we have a better 25 man squad than the sqaud you mentioned.. Life is about opinion's

Coventry City

A formal bid has been made by Gary Hoffman and his consortium.

It is understood that the bid is again for £1, a sum which was initially rejected by Ken Dulieu, his board and owners SISU as well as taking on the exisiting debts which sees every thing including borrowing money against season tickets in an attempt to raise funds.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No player in his right mind would want to join an unambitious club like Burnley, and I am a Clarets fan I am ashamed to say.

I cant believe than Norwich fans are complaining about the point you luckily gained V Wigan, we were the better team all game and on any other day we would have put 5 past you

Norwich will be lucky to get 20 points this season, very poor team

=======================================

any other day, ok, who is going to score these 5, as your team has terrible strikers and the rest of the team is just as bad, (apart from moses)
and how will be lucky to get 20 points, i admit we would be lucky to get 50, but 20 will be easy, you stupid person nit.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Was it an accidental challenge? I can't believe Bikey would want to injure his own player. {Ed003's Note - I heard his knee just "popped" with no players near him}

its very clear what comolli and KK want, they wanted a stronger squad.
this was the plan

soto
ayala out

2 new defenders in enrique already on board

poulsen
aqua out
maybe meirrelles?

adam henderson in

cole
maxi
el zhar
ngog out

downing in

i think if aqua and poulsen leave we will buy another midfielder unless thay see a youth player coming up soon.
1 more defender will be bought.
and another winger/striker.
i feel this is the plan, and i have a feeling we have the money in place to do this already and there is no need to sell, but for economic reasons the owners are waiting to offload, and its clever thinking.

this is what i think, maybe we wont get all the plan done this window but the plan will be followed.
next season there will be only 3 big singings and the other singnings will be for the future.next season we will have CL to offer and be were we belong.

why are so many people on this site obsessed with other users level of spelling ability. Some people are good at spelling others are not, get over it. doesn't really have anything to do with football does it. Maybe they are getting COUNTDOWN withdrawls.

Anyway my foot ball point- really good game between Leeds and West Ham yesterday. Sky sports put it well as "the biggest game in the championship this season"
off the back of that performance I would say Leeds should make playoffs this season, lets hope they keep it up

To the clown who put the pathetic rumour about Brighton's Will Hoskins joining WBA in a player exchange. Id like to ask you one thing? What do you actually know about football? Complete unrealistic comment, you are 'trying to be funny' and 'clever'. I mean come on, what is the point of that childish comment. Let me put it this way, there is more chance of Will Hoskins becoming the next man to walk on the moon than leave Brighton. 'REALLY, REALLY BELIEVAVBLE' - Pathetic.

You could not have watched the team play yesterday. a draw may not look great against Stoke City, but in truth a win was the fair result, poor descision from the ref with the sending off and penalty award. The new players all played well, Pilkington will get better as he gets more time on the pitch (having missed the pre-season fitness training, Bennett looked very good and will only get better, De Laet Was my man of the match , Bradley Johnson played his part and ran De Laet close for MOM. Add we have 4 players out injured, Morrison, Vaughan, Whitbread, and .Elliott.
We have the best squad of players i have ever seen at Carrow Road in the 35 years that i have been a season ticket holder and i have already backed the boys to stay up and from what i have seen so far my money is safe..

Norwich Manager Lambert is mad with the Ref about the sending off,
1) Ask the Ref to reconcider his decision
2) Sign Joey Barton for some Experiance
3) Ask Spurs for a loan of Bassong for the season
