Huddersfield expected to make an offer of somewhere between £500k and £1m for Bailey Wright from Preston.
Talks that Preston were holding out for up to £1.5m are utter rubbish and a fee involving some sort of sell-on clause would be accepted.
Huddersfield were expected to sign Cyrus Christie from Coventry but the attention of several MLS clubs and strong interest from Tottenham and Swansea may well scupper any deal.
The MLS option does not seem to be one that Christie will take but a move to London would maybe tickle his fancy more than a move to Huddersfield as he like the idea of indoor plumbing and electricity. ;0)

Dear oh dear sounds like we have a little bitter coventry fan on our hands here. Christie is on his way to join robins in gods country I think you should come to terms with it treacle.

I genuinely hope he signs for Huddersfield where he'll be first choice and Cov will get a decent chunk of cash rather than sign for an MLS side where we get minimal compensation or Spurs where he'll only get cup run-outs.
I was only messing with the plumbing remark.
Swansea could scupper the deal if they offer him first team football and someone mentioned that Leicester were interested in him too.
If he goes to Leicester then he's just an a. r. s. e. hole.

It is looking very likely that Troy Deeney will not leave Watford this summer despite interest from Newcastle United and Aston Villa. He stated in an interview that he is happy.

Watford would only sell him if the offer was unrejectable, which is looking very unlikely for the man who scored 45 in his last two seasons becoming the best known English striker outside the Premier League. The 25 year old has been valued at 8 million +
