As the new season is about to start I feel that leeds will be lucky to survive we got rid off a 25 goal a season man in bechio then loaned his replacement and now we have a young striker which will be lucky to score 10 goals next season! People say we have a better squad but that's totally untrue we have filled the gaps with young players. I feel we had a better squad on league 1 than the one we have now

Yeah because your league 1 squad are mostly playing in Premier League with Norwich now.

Well, with the paper thin, inexperienced squad that we have I will be surprised if we are not in the bottom 4 ALL season. In fact I would be as bold to say that we will not get more than 32 points all season.

At least Wem Shrew has the courage to say what is staring at us this season, a long relegation fight!

I would also go onto say that the club don't want league 1 football otherwise why go into the season with such limited resources. It's so bad that we won't be able to name a striker or winger on the bench.

As a west ham fan I am a little concerned that we only have Modibo Maiga ready to play for us up front. I know Sam and the board are working hard to get someone in but if we can't get anyone and Maiga gets an injury who we going to play up front?? Apparently the problem is wages not money? Remy wants a fortune and Kalou is not much better! Not sure what Vyrda's wage demands are!

Cardiff supposedly keen on Peter Odemwingie, here's a theory which maybe completely out of line and I may be completely shot down in flames for but it crossed my mind.

WBA are wanting to push on a bit and sign a better calibre of player therefore they will need to lay out a little extra on the wage bill. Odemwingie is supposedly one of the top earners at the Hawthorns, probably raking in somewhere between £32k and £40k a week. If we were to sell him at a price below what we are reportedly looking for it would free up his wages, albeit maybe not making the club as much as Peace wants from the transfer.

Would the fans be happy to see Odemwingie leave for something around the £850K / £1m mark and free up his wages to maybe bring in or secure a current target for the new season? Or would we rather Peace fought his corner for £2m / £2.5m and maybe end up with him still there, bleeding the club if that money playing for the reserves then losing him for nothing?

Charlton have signed Ex-Reading striker Simon Church on a 2 year contract and Marvin Sordell from Bolton on a Season Long Loan, this will boost Charltons attacking options for the coming season for Chris Powell.

I believe Charlton fans should chill now. Albeit its a bit later than some of us would of liked we have now signed two fairly decent strikers in Sordell and Church. Sordell will hopefully link up well with Big Yann and church will push him all the way for that starting spot I'm glad we have signed him over fuller, he seemed lazy In some games I watched last season. Also at that age now where he isn't going to go a whole season without a knock or injury.

City fits the bill the main stumbling block would obviously be whether he would drop two leagues
But in my opinion he would purely because of sod
And I don't know whether it's just a coincidence that the number 24 has been vacated and that sharps favouring number!

Well I have just been down on the beach and saw Maximus leading the donkeys out down there and handing them over to a strange troll like creature, turned out to be Simon Grayson. Alsp saw Mick Mcarthy following the donkeys and shovelling something into a bag so it looks like he is collecting the new Dripswich signings, more 'sh*te' for them.

Saw Caulker play a season at Swansea as a teenager two seasons ago. He was brilliant with Ashley WilliamsFar far better than Yoshida, Font, Jos etc. and improving.

Him and Lovren would have been awesome.
