I like the way football is knocking AFC Bournemouth the money club, us fans have donated lots of money into this club over the years to keep us going. Were owed some happy times and its here. expect one massive signing if not two.
People in the know will tell you Charlie Austin will be wearing the shirt by July 1st (fact ) money talks. also looks like Adam Smith from spurs. Wait and see eveyone.

19 May 2013 20:53:34
I realise the saints are poor but releasing the first team squad is a bit harsh, they must have 1 player good enough for the prem. On seconds thoughts if the saints replace all their players they might have a chance to stay up
Agree0

Why post an old rumour but we've proven the existing squad is good enough for the Prem. If Pompey replace all their players they may have a chance of staying in the Football League.

All those Hughton haters the last couple of months that having been calling for his head, well he sure showed you the last 2 games, 7 goals scored against 8th and 2nd in the league with 2 wins and an 11th place finish in the table, pretty good finish and shows that we are capable and a few more decent signings this summer and we should improve even more next year, I can see good times ahead with a good budget for this summer. well done Norwich and Hughton!

Not simple as. you can't finish in 11th by playing 2 games. Good season for city, aim was to stay in prem this year & get increased tv deal cash. Now debt free so can look to spend on improving squad. Looking forward to next season.

My early prediction for the league 1 table for 2013/14
1 Sheffield Utd
2 Wolves
3 MK Dons
4 Swindon
5 Peterborough
6Carlisle United
7 Brentford
8 Bristol City
9 Coventry City
10 Notts County
11 Leyton Orient
12 Walsall
13 Bradford City
14 Preston North End
15 Crewe Alexandra
16 Rotherham United
17 Tranmere Rovers
18 Crawley Town
19 Port Vale
20 Shewsbury Town
21 Gillingham
22 Colchester United
23 Oldham Athletic
24 Stevange
Some may doubt Carlisle but this is the first season in 4 years when they have not finished in the top half. 6 years ago the crowd they where getting was an average of 9000 if they can get them back then they will easily challenge. Also with the scottish league going down the drain then they will all be joining Carlisle.
Oldham have been lucky for the last few season, Gillingham just do not have the class

Stop being such deluded fans and realise you're just a small club with a lot of mouth. Fair play you've done well last couple of years but don't go thinking you're some huge club because you're not. Stick to the relegation battles and leave European nights to the big teams- ie Chelsea, United Arsenal
Agree0

We have never said we are a big club, we only have stated we have the financial backing to take on some of the bigger clubs if we really want to.

Stop using the most overused adjective on this site i. e. deluded and stop being such an arrogant, pig ignorant git. That used to be the preserve of United fans. Mummy and Daddy never taught me not to answer back to bloody Chelsea fans. Btw, Poch has now dismissed the renewed speculation about Shaw and said we might buy some Chelsea players. I fancy Hazard and Mata meself.

Broadfoot has played at a higher level in a Europa league final. And is a international player, he has been injured this year at Blackpool. Still good enough to excel in the championship, can play right across the back four.

People moan at pulis for being a bad manager but I think he's one of the best in the league (just stubborn). Firstly di matteo and rafa wouldn't wanna come stoke as they're to good. Redknapp wants a lot of money to work with, Martinez has been linked with everton and O'neill and bruce would take us down. I think pulis is a great manager because he keeps us in the prem easily year after year with a championship team, we have kightly, wilko, shotton, nash, whitehead, sidibe, whelan, jones, etherington (too old now) that are not prem quality and we have palacios who isn't very good, pennant with a bad lifestyle, crouch who is old and getting useless and to do the job he does I think he is a fantastic manager. However he is stubborn and turned down players like adebayor, tiote, ba.

Tony "battering ram" Pulis is not a great manager. His approach is brute force and long balls.
