Barnsley are weighing up a bid to re-sign Wolves winger Adam Hammill. Wolves are thinking of a replacement for Adam if he goes, so they are going to have a look at Jimmy Kebe who is currently at Reading

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Disagree, he used to live and now owns a property on my road. He has told a friend, Wolves and himself will sit down at end of the season when he has 1 year left on his contract and the option on his contract is a 3 year extension, but if Wolves choose not to activate this, he will move on.

Jordan Rhodes will not be leaving huddersfield. He has said that he will only leave if he is forced out which will not happen as Dean Hoyle (Huddersfield Town Chairman) has quoted 'My money is better off in Jordan Rhodes than it is in the bank'. This is true and can be found on the SkySports website

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Rhodes wants to play in thew EPL every week. And secure a place as a international player for Scotland. And he gets that from moving to Newcastle. He will not wait around for another three seasons, for Hunddersfield to get there.Regardless of what the chairman has said.Rhodes time is now,to make the step up.Ally

Not really a rumour more of a sad truth. The championship will be turned upside down by lower level premiership teams desperate to stay in the league taking their top performers. Just a shame teams like southampton and boro will suffer as they have done amazing to get where they are. January is a stressfull time to be a championship manager, good luck to them all.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

If this is the case them this should work in teams fighting for promotions favour, i mean Saints, West Ham, Boro etc.. will not sell there better players we have ambitions as well, players like Rhodes, Maynard, Rodriguez etc.. i agree might look to move on. For example i am a Saints fan, we are currently top dont no how from recent proformences but we are, there is no way we will sell Lambert and Lallana to a struggling prem club, not being funny but i dont think, lets say Lambert would go to Bolton for example when the chances of him playing in the prem next season are looking slim, he would get 6 months in the prem and thats it just does not make sense.

Agree1 Disagree4

Sorry when i said lower level i wasnt referring to just the bottom three. Teams such as Fulham, Norwich, QPR, Swansea, WBA, Wolves, Sunderland, Everton will all be looking to try and bolster there chances of staying in the premiership. Players such as Nicky Maynard, Ricky Lambert, Robert Snodgrass, Wilfred Zaha, Adam Lallana, Marvin Emnes, Albert Adomah, Carlton Cole would be more than capable of making an impact in the premiership. I wasnt disrespecting the championship, just thought it would be much more enjoyable and interesting if it kept going as it is. Its been really open and unpredictable. Thats the way i like my football. {Ed025's Note - how dare you put everton in that bracket..

Agree1 Disagree0

Carlton cole came down with west ham he turned down the chance to move another prem club. we are in the top 6 with a good chance of going up ,unless silly money is offered think we will be buying not selling bfs has said already we have a small squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with post above, i am a Saints fan and like matey said above unless silly money is offered for Lambert and Lallana there is no way we will sell, sell them and we can kiss any chance of promotion goobye, not saying it would not happen because money talks at the end of the day, its just very unlikely, like West Ham Saints will add to the current squad not sell our best players.

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't think Lallana will ever go tbh and would only worry about Lambert staying in summer if we don't get promotion. How much is Prem league status worth? Cortese is far too asute and ambitious to sell our major assets when we are sitting top of the Championship.

Realistic Hammers Fan, Southampton are by far the best team in the league they have a lot more going forward and goals coming from not only Lambert. For me it's the Saints that the rest have to catch. Roll on transfer window West Ham may be able to find someone to score goals.

19 Dec 2011 13:23:58
Realistic Saints Fan, If West Ham dont win the league this year then it will be their own doing.

Saints remain top despite a dodgy run, and WH have had their chances. Saints now have back to back home fixtures and the Jan Transfer window to get more on the bus.

Its going to be a bumpy ride but a reckon second is realistic

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Realistic Boro fan here,I think you are both awful,we will win the league

Mr.Transporter-Bridge

Agree1 Disagree3

Realistic Leicester fan, after studying the remaining fixtures on my laptop during the game at weekend, I think we will finish runners up

Mr. Dell

Agree0 Disagree2

Realistic Portsmouth fan here, after looking closely at the club and how we have treated the local small businesses in the past 18 months. I think we should get a points deduction, it would only be fair, if we didnt then teams like Luton and Wimbledon have every reason to feel aggrieved. I know all my fellow fans will disagree but it is what we deserve. PUP

Agree2 Disagree0

Realistic Wimbledon fan here, Portsmouth should be kicked out of football all together and made to start from the bottom, i keep reading about how Pompey fans feel let down by the FA. The way a see it you seem to of got away with it, yes you got a points deduction but you didnt have to pay all what you owed back, if i am correct you payed back 10p out of every pound you owed, what a joke, small buisneses would of had the book thrown at them. If you go into admin again you should be kicked out of football for good.

Agree1 Disagree0

And there ground should be turned into lidl carpark so everyone can see what happens to dodgy clubs that dont make it

huddersfield fans are mugs.jordan rhodes is too big for you as he has proved, even if you flukely got promoted this year you would then be a mid table best in the championship, if there is interest from prem clubs then rhodes would want the step and it would be pretty harsh if chairman or manager stood in his way. big wow you won the league in the 30's but now you are wand will be for a long time in either league1 or championship at best.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Who says we would be mid table in the Championship if we go up by keeping hold of Rhodes we have got money to spend in the Championship. We have some quality young players as well as Rhodes add to them signings in the right areas who knows, Norwich did it. The hardest part for us is getting out of league one because we are trying to do it playing football. What tean do you support anyway to call us mugs?

Agree0 Disagree4

Dont matter who i support, u are clearly a mug as you think you will be challenging for the prem with 1 good player, ytou have nothing to attract players unless you gave the sort of money leicester give players and it doesnt always work that way, your ground is a dump just like your town

Agree0 Disagree1

What have you got against us? What is wrong with being ambitious? and if you think that we have only got one decent player then its you who's the mug. Ever heard of Alex Smithies, Gary Roberts, Danny Ward, Jack Hunt, Lee Novak. Lets hear who you support and it might explain why you are obviously so jealous of us and our ambition.

Agree1 Disagree0

It does matter who you support, small man. Let's know if your judgement is simply coloured by local rivalry. Good luck Huddersfield, it would be crazy to let Rhodes go in Jan and at least you won't have to hope Saints slip up this season!

Agree0 Disagree0

You sound like a sad and bitter Sheffield Wednesday fan to me, perhaps thats why you want to keep it to yourself!

Robin Van Persie says the only club that could lure him away from the Emirates is Real Madrid. The Arsenal striker stated he would not follow in the footsteps of Kolo Toure,Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy or Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City as he believes the club are not a true reflection of success. In my opinion I think Real Madrid is the only other club i could picture RVP at, the likes of Barcelona, Man City or anywhere in Italy wouldn't suit his style of play.
