Hull manager Steve Bruce wants Phil Bardsley and Jake Livermore for the Premier League next season.

Andros Townsend will be going out on loan again if Gareth Bale stays and is interested in moving to West Brom, Swansea or Fulham.

Just been reading what James Vaughan was saying at the start of may, he said "if I leave Norwich, I will talk to Huddersfield" hope he does more than just talk and puts pen to paper, don't want derby getting him, atleast they have strikers!

hull city interested in
Rhodes- 4m +
Austin 4m+
maloney
boyce
watson
kasper sch
Elmo
odemwingie
Powell (loan)
Callum Mc from wigan
Would love Chalobah though class act

Oh and don't give me that rubbish that austin will only go for 8-10 mill when he's in the last year of his contact.
And Rhodes well blackburn want to lower there wage bill so buying for 4 m or 5 m would be good due to how much he earns.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Blackburn are reported to want £10m+ for Rhodes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Austin won't go for less than 7, and to a bigger club, and mcmanaman could easily go top 6

Agree0 Disagree0

Rhodes signed for 8 million, why would they let him go for half price? When there will be a bidding war for him, teams like Sunderland, West Ham, West Brom, Southampton, Norwich, Aston Villa, Fulham, Stoke. Could all be in for him, and he could play every week at these teams.

Andreas Cornelius and Jozy Altidore to join Stoke? Both top class players, with a great header which is always good being a Stoke player, but combined they might be a little expensive. Franco Di Santo would also be a decent signing; good on the ball and a free agent.
Gardener could replace Whelan if he goes and Sinclair would give Stoke some much needed flair out on the wing.
Luis Pedro Cavanda would be a good possible signing. He's tall, good in the air, and unusually pacey for someone of his height. Valued by Lazio around £1m but I think he might go for a little more than that.

Hello eds! Does anybody know if anyone has any interest in Omar Abdulrahman as he looks a class player capable of playing at the top!

Blackpool should go for Nahki Wells, we're in dying need of a striker. He is fast, young at 22 and would cost about 500,000-750,000 from bradford. With little chance of signing the two bigger names like dwight gayle or ebanks-blake looking small why not? Remember gayle was league 2 player last season who says wells can't do what he has.

don't think Wells can ride a donkey or cope with the fog in Middlesbourgh. better of staying in Bradford.

Agree0 Disagree0

Me thinks if blackpool or middlesbro went for him. he would leave his £100 a week for bradford. for 4/5/6 k a week at either or. I don't think he's that good. so keep him.

Nahki Wells after League 2 play off win,
"My contract is with Bradford and I will be playing in League 1 next season".
Does this mean no move to Ipswich or Boro?

Does everyone agree with the released and retained list? one that suprising though is gary woods, what's everybody else think?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 May 2013 11:48:31
Ball and mullen both released after 1 year pros without a reserve team to play in seems a bit harsh considering the youth team they played in were very successfully much more so than last season's Another years development now there's going to be a reserve team surely the least they should of got considering the lack of opportunity given. Best of luck to them both in the game

Any one surprised to See Sullivan stay on and Gary woods go? Can't help But think he wasn't good enough/consistent for the championship. Does this open the door for fotheringham or fon Williams? What do we think? Doncaster fans.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We should sell the rest, and get better keepers in from Scotland, such as Alexander and Samson, and Mannus.
And use the money to pay wages of other free transfers we sign.

Cortese is staying. Relax folks, it's over. Spur the rumour mill once more Short Round, it's going to be a wild summer!

It was announced this morning that Nicola Cortese will be staying as Chairmain and Chief Executive at Southampton FC as Katherine Liebherr and the Liebherr Trust have agreed to provide the funding the ambitious chairmen wants to make Saints a top 6 side a regular at the Euoropean table.

This means manager Pochettino will also stay and a number of new players will be joining the club.

Players such as Cork, Schneiderlin, Shaw and Clyne will all be staying at St Mary's as they believe the club had a bright future.

Players expected to arrive at Saints include Hector Moreno from Espanyol, Alvaro Negredo and Albert Botia in a double swoop from financially troubled Sevilla, Jose Callejon from Real to link up with Pochettino again, Lucas Biglia from Anderlecht and Scott Sinclair to join his brother on the South Coast.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Deluded, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Expect another relegation battle next season, let's face it, you're just a small club pretending to be big, champs lge?, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Top 10 next season for sure wait and see, we were suppose to stay in the championship but we got back to back promotion then we where going to get relegated oh wait we stayed up.

Are chairman is staying on as he's got the financial baking he wants and we spent 30 million last season.

Underestimate us all you want, we are a club on the rise playing fantastic football and outplaying some of the best teams in the prem, oh wait guess they all had off days?

Probally a Pompey fan

It's been a tough 3/4 years for those who say we are deluded, that's for sure, lol

These Saints are just dripping arrogance.

You give your club a bad name.

Unlucky to all the Arsenal/Chelsea etc. out there waiting to poach our class players, but the club have issued a statement this morning confirming that Cortese is staying and the club can move forward with its ambitious plans for the coming season, so it seems unlikely our players will be jumping ship, particularly for the stupid little price tags rumored on here.

Who is the player Derby are after from Crewe? Derby have offered Bailey and Robinson in exchange for??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Luke Murphy I'm guessing. Couldn't imagine that Crewe would be able to afford the wages of Bailey and Robinson though
