Burton Albion have put in a bid to buy Mansfield Towns Andy Owens. he has signed on loan to Southport until the end of the season and there is a clause that he cannot be re-called so any deal will be to buy out his remaining contract

Exeter will make 2 signings which will be announced next Monday morning.
Mark Molesley will sign a deal until the end of the 2014 season.
They will also announce the loan signing of Swindon forward Paul Benson for the rest of the season. Paul Tisdale feels these 2 can help the Grecians push for promotion.

Vale are making another secret signing! Friday is when he's being revealed, personally I think it's going be a creative midfielder or possibly a left back, if its a midfielder then looks like popes going have more areas to receive the ball and score, I think Martin Allen and Gillingham need be careful of they want battle for first because they have been rather inconsistent at the minute, so have vale but Mickey Adams is strengthening options

Nahki Wells may be good enough for championship but a big gamble. Novak would be the top striker in Div 2 without a doubt so any deal would be good for City. A fee of anything above £200,000 would be a bonus and would only reflect Well's potential rather than proven record.

Before any poor rumors are brought out about Swindons current financial situation I'll clear up a few issues. Most clubs go into administration because they owe tax money and the tax man calls in those debts, the tax is mainly from player sales.
Swindons problem is that the current major shareholder Andrew Black has 95% share of the club via his PLC Swindon Holdings LTD (I think). Black wants to sell now, he's looking for a new owner BUT, the new potential owners don't want to pay about 9 mil for the club, however Black may want to take the club to admin so the debts are quashed and he could sell the club, but this would be counter productive as he'll receive a reported 3p in the £.
There potential new owners waiting for the right time, I wonder if the 10 point rule would apply if STFC go into admin?
SO they aren't about to sell Richie for 100k or Fodringham for 50k.
By the sounds of it PDC and Nick Watkins are happy with the way things are going. A new owner could signal an extension to PDC's contract.
So its not all doom and gloom.

Plymouth have signed Gozie Ugwu, a 19 year old striker from Reading on a youth loan. Eds or anyone, does this count to the total number of loans or do youth loans count seperatley, if you get my meaning! Reading now look to have withdrawn any interest remaining for the Celta Vigo striker Iago, but it still looks as is Reading FC have fought off the challenge of Arsenal for Sunsil Stopzilla who will sign this side of the weekend (sorry cannot get the spelling right of these overseas players - it took me twenty years to work out how to spell Pellay!)

What does everyone think about the Centre Back position? Jos Hooiveld should go in my opinion, and Jose Fonte is not good enough for this level. Should the Saints take a gamble with Frederik Sorensen from Bologna, and Forren from Molde? Maya Yoshia will be good as he is only young. How about some more younger players? Omar Gonzalez from LA Galaxy? I believe his contract is up at the end of the season? Only 23 years of age, worth a gamble for additional cover?
I am only finding out what you guyys think, not a new rumour, sorry.
Jos is a good squad player and can do a job when required, Jose did not impress at the start of the season but in my opinion is now getting to grips with the pace and power of Prem opposition week in week out. Agree we do need one if not two other quality CBs because of the long season, and overall we should be quite satisifed of what's going on at the mo. (a nice turn around from the last time we played Chelski Eh?) COYRs

This is not a rumour, but just a question for Saints fans. With an attacking midfield/ winer option up for grabs, after a Centre-Back is signed, Would the young Nathan Redmond from Birmingham be a good addition? So many of you would like English talent and he has a lot to learn but has proven his qualities in the Championship this season. Just wondering if you guys would think he would be a good signing for a squad rotation player? Wouldn't be too much money either.
It would not suprise me if we hadn't already had a look at him while eyeing up Butland, but Redmond looks to lack goals and makes many appearances as a sub.....its difficult to comment if he would make a good addition because we don't really get the oportuity to see him play - that said he has age on his side, and because he has recently signed a new three year contract the Blues would want a heafty return on the lad....COYRs

Why doesn't Winkleman raise funds for the MK Dons by preparing an IPO (Initial public offering) and listing MK Dons on the stock exchange? This would allow fans and local business to buy into the shares and raise Capital in order for the club to reach the Championship. Once in the Championship the revenue base will be huge and Dons crowds would almost certainly double with the large away following's in the Championship thus revenue would grow.

A number of clubs Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Portsmouth) have enquired about Swindon players who are desperate to reduce their wage bill as administration looms. The clubs are not prepared to pay the excessive wages the players are on. and Swindon cannot afford to pay up the contracts in order to grant them free transfers.
