Sunderland to sign Rene Adler from Bayer Leverkusen, Kevin Berigaud from Evian Thonon Gaillard, Mladen Petric from Hamburger SV and Luuk de Jong from Twente. Connor Wickham to a championship side on season loan.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Why are there so many deluded sunderland fans why would luuk de jong go to a mid table side when the likes of liverpool and spurs have been linked with him

Southampton to move for Matt Jarvis, Ali Al-Habsi and Alexander Baumjohann if they gain promotion.

I am not a southampton fan, this is what I have heard though

Believable1 Unbelievable4

This is just typical of the sort of stupid rumours put on here, this is completly made up by you, so i really is not a rumour its just your thoughts. I am a Saints fan and i would like us to be promoted firts before even talking about next season.
If your thoughts were to be true, to be honest i would imagine Matt Jarvis and Ali Al Habsi would get interest from more established Prem Sides. Alexander Baumjohann i dont know to much about, just googled him and he as well is an up and coming player for Schalke so the same applies to him. If you are going to make rumours, then make a little realistic. You say you are not a Saints fan and its what you heard, must be a Skate then, go share your thoughts about your own club but then again you Skates dont like to talk about your club these days do you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you might want your ears checked then. Coz there is NO WAY you have heard this.

There is no way shef u going to sell there best to players to binmen on the cheap. I can see them having a good season finushing higher than town. Your left back is being watched by number of prem clubs and is expected to leave before the start nx season. Why would he want to be playing for a team near bottom of 2nd tier. When he could be playing at city manchester stadium etc

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Because it's a big step up from Sunday morning hoof ball you play

Saints fan here, good night for us, still not there yet but pretty close. Congrats to Reading there recent form has been outstanding they deserve to get promoted well done. Fair play to Pompey they are giving it a go but i think its asking a bit to much to survive now, i do feel for the Pompey fans, they think its bad now, going to get alot worse if/when they get relagated.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Completely agree, still want the title though COYR

Agree0 Disagree0

Pompey fan here - It's interesting at both ends of the table but all pompey fans care about is survival as a club. If that is in div 1, who cares, we are well up for that!

Agree0 Disagree0

What's happened to Saints fans they suddenly have become humble, honest and realistc fans all of a sudden

Agree0 Disagree0

No Pompey fans have stoped posting stupid rumours for you all to react to.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree mate cant stand west ham. We got them at the KP next monday, live on sky. Hopefully we turn em over and condemn them to the playoffs. If so i think that blackpool, brum & cardiff have a very good chance of beating them...

Liverpool will not be signing Edison Cavani,Gonzalo Higuain,David Villa or any other world class striker this summer. Daglish wants to persist with Carroll and Suarez. Kuyt is leaving and a back up striker who knows where the goal is will be brought in. Gary Hooper is the leading candidate at the minute. Alex McLeish is interested in making a £7m move for Charlie Adam while Liverpool are all ready eyeing up his potential replacement in Kevin Strootman. Junior Hoilett is close to concluding a deal if reports are to be believed while Adam Johnson is another summer target. Craig Gordon is available on a free and Daglish sees him as a perfect back up to Reina as Doni wants out while Jones could also leave this summer. OUTS- Cole,Aquilani,Jones,Maxi,Aurelio,Kuyt,Adam and Doni INS-Hoilett,Gordon,Strootman,Johnson and Hooper no big name signings will be coming. Adam Johnson is the closest to one we will get but names like Hazard,Eriksenn,Lavezzi etc. are unlikely to be joining this summer after Liverpool's failure to qualify for the CL they have had to lower some of there targets hopefully next summer we can target world class players.

No way will Pearson sell Drinkwater as we only signed him from man u in jan. King wont leave either as we dont need the money & hes a very good player for us

LeicesterLad

Agree0 Disagree0

Noel Hunt another average SPL player for Utd,thriving in the championship. And average is being kind on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

The likes of Noel hunt do better in the championship because there playing with better quality players

LeicesterLad

Agree0 Disagree0

Who like the others championship signed from Dundee Utd,Gomis,Bauban,Conway, etc ect?Hunt was awful up here,as any United fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Players progess when playing with better players and obviously thrive when they have better players creating opportunities for them... fact m8

LeicesterLad

Agree0 Disagree0

Your meant to also be able to create your own chances as a striker, something Hunt could not do at Utd.And he never won any cup whilst with them to.Like the guys that I mentioned before.

Mattew Jarvis, Jamie O'Hara, Steven Flether £13 mill
Craig Gordon Free
Carrick £7.5mill
(if wigan go down) Moses and Figeroa £8 mill

Believable1 Unbelievable0

For who? I'd guess Stoke?

Agree0 Disagree0

If you are talking Stoke then Stoke rejected a loan offer for O'Hara 18 months ago. Why would they suddenly change their minds? 13 million for Fletcher.....reality check fella. Stoke tried to loan Carrick last August but no joy.

If soton lose to middlesborough they will be in playoffs there no where near good enough to be premier league they will struggle

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Spot on mate

Agree0 Disagree0

They will lose :)

Agree0 Disagree0

We dont care what you lot think at least we will be in the Prem and we will enjoy however long it last. Who's laughing Now

Agree0 Disagree0

You keep knocking the Saints, like it or like it not looks like they will be promoted to Prem. Weather they will do well or not is irelavent, at least they are there. Well played Southampton Hope the final results go your way.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol is that the same crystal ball you used to predict that saints will be back down the league a t Christmas or that our "bubble will burst".

Another thing that may be hard for Pompey fans to understand is that we are in a good financial position and will be able to improve our squad this summer. Anyway well done reading we'll be joining you soon

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Southampton will probably go up but agree that they will need to strengthen dramatically if they are to stay up. This season thye used the momentum of their rise from div 1 to carry them forward but if they are to survive next season, the whole defense will need to be rebuilt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is there the need for Southampton fans to take endless pokes at Pompey and their finances? It was only a couple of years back that you were in the same position. Give it a rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is there the need for Southampton fans to take endless pokes at Pompey and their finances? It was only a couple of years back that you were in the same position. Give it a rest.
-----------------------------------------------
You are right only a couple of years ago we were in the boat and most of the Pompey fans were dancing in the streets and praying for us to go out of buisness, as they say what goes around.

Also the comment about using momentum is stupid, i buy that for the first 2-3 games of the season but we have be first or second the whole season FACT, thats no fluke we have had some great proformances and some dodgy one's but the fact is we are looking like being promoted back to the Prem.
If this is the case then yes we will need to strengthen and would imagine we will, if we were to be relagated on the first attempt then so be it, us Saints fans will enjoy every minute of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where the hell does it say anything about Pompey's finances except your post. If Pompey fans or whoever wish to initiate endless posts knocking Southampton then they should expect the banter to come right back at 'em!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't much of a knocking but still they were full of sympathy when we were in that situation. Plus if they didn't want a response why post that saints are going to horribly fail when they are clearly not

Interesting bit of news for Leeds fans.

I've heard from my source at Leeds that Robert Snodgrass is going to postpone making a decision as to whether or not to sign the new offer which is on the table. His decision will depend on how Leeds fare in the first month of the transfer window being open, and whether or not they will show the ambition that he will need them to in order to stick around.

I've also heard that Warnock has managed to convince Ken that promotion simply isn't possible without a reasonable amount of investment, which Bates - very reluctantly - will now look to provide.

---------------------------------------------

Interesting

Directly contradicts what other reports say: Snodgrass will leave in the summer and has made it clear to his agent that he wants to go.

Also

Bates has told Warnock that there will be no additional funding.

Warnock will have to sell first.

Only 3/4 of the received money will be reinvested back into the squad

Believable0 Unbelievable1

2nd poster you are so so wrong warnock stated and a dinner at elland road last month he has the biggest budget he has ever worked with ask anyone who was there snodgrass will captain leeds next season bates will spend end of

Lynch will going at the end of the season. Not happy in Nottingham

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Fact or guessing? I would suspect guessing again. Someone who knows nothing at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would say Fact! Cant imagine any player being happy at forest after the season they have had

LeicesterLad

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not a local rival and would therefore say guessing. Forest have under achieved this season and the majority of their squad would be welcomed in most Championship teams.
