Notts County close to agreeing deals to bring former midfielders Ben Davies and Shaun Derry back to Meadow Lane.

Derry is out of contract at Loftus Road, and though Derry has also kept in close touch with Neil Warnock since his departure from QPR, Keith Curle is set to win the race for his signature with an offer of the club captaincy at Derry's home town club.

Bristol city WILL sign tom heaton as we only have 1 goalkeeper. We will also battle it out with derby for the signature of Paul Dixon. City will get him because he will be guarenteed 1st team footy. we will go for mcmanus 650k, lafferty 700k. murray davidson 1m, and sandaza 1.1m.
And to whoever says bristol city have no money are fools, we are fairly wealthy, and if we werent we wouldnt be tying to build a 30,000+ seater stadium.
Also intested in matt jacobs, amougou and dj cambell.

Bristol city fan who posted that u will sign morison. You must have same virus leeds fans. They think they can take players from prem to play in championship, only teams that could do that are wolves, leicester becuse they have lots cash. So get real.

Wolves haven't got "lots of cash". They had the second lowest wage bill in the PL and now need to cut that to comply with the new Fair Play ruling that starts from next season.

Leicester even more so.

Fair Play Rules means wage caps. So as long as teams can afford 20k a week (which i'm not saying we can) Its a level playing field financial wise.

Roy favors a 4-4-2 so i could see Carroll (who has come good in the last 2 months) playing in just behind Defoe (quality all season) in more of a 4-4-1-1. I think it would be a pretty sweet strike partner ship during Rooney's suspension.

Would also LOVE to say that the Ox would make the squad but i doubt it, 18 isn't too young but he has had way too little time on the pitch this season, granted he's be incredible on the pitch but i just don't see what little experience he has being of an benefit.

Shame about Jack as well him and Scotty P in the middle of the park would be a force to be reckoned with.

No welbeck? I'm not a man u fan but his partnership with Rooney is brilliant and I'd have him in front of Carroll and Defoe, and I don't think Ferdinand and Terry will play with each other

I'm sure its unlikely but i would love to see Max Gradel and Jermaine Beckford back at leeds. Gradel doesn't get a look in at St Etienne and Beckford has made it clear that he would love to come back. What do you think the chances are ed? {Ed025's Note - its about the dosh mate..
