Big respect to portsmouth who arrived at home park with just 14 players, 12 of whom were youth team players with something like 7 or 8 first team games between them and they played with imense pride and passion and gave us a good game. Good luck pompey. Bryher Pilgrim.

Dougie Freedman has got the bug for playing after a cameo role at Dulwich a couple of weeks back. He's expected to register in time for this Saturday's game against Watford. He wanted to do it in time for tonight's game at Exeter but didn't want to take the shine off Dean Moxey's return to his home town club. Dougie's nice like that

People were asking for a Fantasy football for this website, so i thought as i have already done my teams for both i might as well do a league for people to join.

1) The First is the knewly named "Phones 4u Fantasy Football" which is the championships fantasy football.

League Pin is: 8805

2) The Second is the official Barclays Premier League one:

League Pin : 985486-271167

These two are the best two for each league, hopefully ed can put them on both Banter and Rumour page.

Romour has it Saints are signing some
geezer called Le Tissier cause its all they can afford ha he
They are hopeful Jay Rogriguez and
Billy sharp gonna get them the goals they
need this season but I doubt it.

It was nice while it lasted :-)

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Skate boy worry about your little club with no fans or money

Agree7 Disagree0

Being owned by the billionaire Liebherr family, I'm betting we can afford a lot more than that!
Plus you seem to be forgetting about Lambert, who is going to score a lot of goals.

I think somebody said "it wouldnt last"
last season when The Saints went marching to the top of the Championship last year,,,,,,,,,

I've just heard from a local farmer that Jewell is soon to be parachuted out of Portman Road to be replaced by Alex McLeish. Heskey has agreed to join him and become the clubs highest earner on a 5 year contract (bringing him up to the age of 39).

I know we've been linked with Sheffield United's Nick Mongomery again, but i hear it's really Wednesday's Gary Madine who we are looking at as a squad player. Regular No 9 last season and scored plenty.

I am hoping Derrick McInnes is more of a showman than I thought and has his four signings ready to walk out on the pitch together tonight.

Baldock, Buzacky, Wilson, and Lucas Neil have all already signed, but they want a spectacular announcment.

..... and then I woke up.

Not going to pretend i know any
rumours bhoys and ghirls but I have
a big feeling that Ki's move will have a lot
to do with RVP's proposed move to
Utd. With 20mill in the bank - Arsene will
bid 8.5 for Ki and he will be sold at that
price;
I'm thinking;
IF we qualify we will sign Ciani and a CF
perhaps the lad we almost signed last
year - was it Mallorca he played for?

If not - expect Russell/Daley and a CB
to boost the squad for Europa..
and having some money in the coffers.

is anyone else as excited for this epl season as i am? with the sheer number of teams that can be challenging this season, all with varying styles, i cant wait for motd, haha. with the new styles of brendan rodgers and avb at their clubs, the revolution at chelsea, newcastle having the enormous task of living up to last season, arsene's top quality bargains, and the manchester clubs with their winning mentality's and good expansive football, it should be one of the greatest seasons, and who knows, moyes might surprise us with some of his incredible talents in working with no cash, or qpr might shoot up the table with their own mini-revolution, to get in amongst the big boys.
right, prediction time:
1st-Utd (as a fan, ill always back them)
2nd-City
3rd-Chelsea
4th-Liverpool
5th-Arsenal
6th-Tottenham-
-would prefer these two higher up to be honest
7th-Newcastle -
8th-QPR
9th-Everton

18th-Reading (i just dont think there's enough quality there)
19th-Swansea (i just cant see them doing as well without allen, sinclair and rodgers)
20th-Wigan (but ive thought this for the past 3 years)
But this is all just my humble opinion, thought id share it, since thats what this site is for.

QPR will get relegated. Too many wanna be big players with huge egos. They won't be as lucky as before. Norwich or Swansea didn't look like they had enough quality but did a lot better than expected. Reading have been strongest out of the three promoted teams (and some prem teams) especially against Southampton in the transfer market. Southampton are looking very weak in defense so it could be bad news but with that said I do think/hope that all three stay up. I know there will be a few surprises in the prem as always and looking very forward to it.

Agree1 Disagree1

Why liverpool 4th? even as a spurs fan it's obvious arsenal have done better business than them. I reckon it'll be close between us and them with spurs edging 5th and pool 6th

Agree0 Disagree0

Qpr will be at the bottom with reading and stoke

Every year some1 says Stoke will go down, 1 day we might, but we ave faith, mup the mighty Potters

i'm pretty sure it is but just wanted to make sure?

All the best for the season ahead chaps,
Scot MOT!
