if rangers were to live within its means it would never get back to the level everyone (bar shelic and just about everyone else in scottish football) wants, we would rise to becoming a top 3 team at best.
if King accelerates investment and goes in front heavy as suggested, rangers will have enough to buid for the future, investing in scouting, youth and players to mount a serious challenge in 3 years. Raising the profile of the club and increasing the product on the park will in turn drive up sponsorship, ticket prices, retail profit and marketability. The only way to make rangers run to a profit is to invest now.
