Portsmouth will attempt to make a number of signings, firstly eoin Doyle on loan, with marc mcnulty as a backup if the first falls through, midfield targets being man citys jack byrne recently recalled from blackburn, brightons richie towers is a backup option in the midfield. They will also attempt for a right back, a attempt of resigning ben davies from grimsby or attempt to achieve several loan deal from prem sides

04 Feb 2017 19:47:29
First of all, it's 'Richie Towell', and second, if you were o sign Towell he would be your best midfielder so having him as a back-up will never happen.

Afternoon Ipswich Town fans, I come bringing some news with regards to a couple of players Ipswich are trying to bring in.

First up, Conor Chaplin of Portsmouth. He has come highly recommended via Adam Webster (who came from Portsmouth in the summer) . As I understand it, Ipswich are close to agreeing a £800k (plus add ons) deal for Chaplin, and he could be signed in time for Ipswich's next league game, which is at home to Blackburn on the 14th January.

Secondly, Ipswich are also trying to sign Lloyd Isgrove from SOuthampton on a permanent deal. A fee of around £600k is close to being agreed, although there are several clubs interested in Isgrove, Ipswich are the favourites to land him.

That's all I have for now, when I hear anything else, I will let you folks know!

Numerous Plymouth Argyle rumours flying about.
Ins:
C. Ribiero - Exeter RB out of contract
J. Matt - offers from five other clubs though, Mansfield looks quite likely
M. Paterson - Released by Blackpool
B. Pritchard - Knows how to play a bit, but was out of favour at Orient.

Outs:
Kelvin Mellor - Could be returning to Crewe
Curtis Nelson - Interest from Rangers, Bolton, Wigan and Burton.
Peter Hartley - In talks with Grimsby, Hartlepool and Notts County
Carl McHugh - Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham interested
Graham Carey - Robinson wants to take him to Milton Keynes
Gregg Wylde - Walsall are interested
Reuben Reid - Notts County, Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth seemingly in talks.

12 Jun 2016 13:41:46
Christian Ribiero deal looks likely now due Wage Demands being met by Plymouth but face competition from Bristol Rovers. Jamille Matt according to multiple sources is indeed off to Mansfield with Martin Paterson being pursued as a potential replacement. Bradley Pritchard Argyle are interested due to his versatility and Derek Adams wants to splash out on one versatile instead of 3 'weaker'signings. Curtis Nelson and Peter Hartley look set for Rangers and Grimsby respectively. Graham Carey and Gregg Wylde look set to stay due to interest to continue to pursue their respective careers with Plymouth Argyle. Port Vale are in the hot seat to sign Reuben Reid.

29 Jun 2016 11:54:12
Ribiero is off to Oxford. Matt is off to Blackpool.

Losing Nelson would be a blow.

31 May 2016 11:12:06
Blackburn Rovers want to appoint Former Burnley boss, Owen Coyle, as their new manager ahead of the 2016/ 17 season a move seems unlikely to materialise but talks have taken place and an announcement by Blackburn is expected soon. Also, Burnley are looking at potentially bringing in Barnsley winger Adam Hammill after he scored yet another wonder goal at Wembley helping Barnsley to promotion. A move for the Liverpool Born winger would see him become a Squad rotation player at best as they look for back up. Hammill will discuss his contract terms on return from Family holiday with Family being his main priority in his next move.

19 May 2016 17:56:30
Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester utd are all interested in buying joe Rankin - Costello from Blackburn. The 16 year old is likely to cost inbetween £7-10 million.

26 May 2016 01:21:09
WHAT?!?! A 16 year old that costs 7-10m? .

Can't see this one bit. They'd get him cheaper at a tribunal surely.

23 Jan 2016 13:29:06
With a week to go of the transfer window, he latest names linked with the Swans are follows:-

Sandro Ramirez of Barca, Spurs heavily linked, so are Newcastle, has a €12m clause that would need to be activated. Is is nothing more than a rumour currently as I have not heard anything concrete.

Gregoire Defrel of Sassuolo is a player that the Swans were not interested in until the appointment of Guidolin. It is a player he has scouted extensively while in his role at Watford and Udinese. The interest has remained with him so is a name he has suggested.

Balde Keita of Lazio is seen as a player who could inject much needed cutting edge from out wide as the team has lacked real width for a while. Bid has been made, been rejected, waiting to see if another will be made.

Scott Sinclair, bid has been made, Aston Villa are waiting to see if Newcastle are going to follow up their enquiry with a bid to get as much as they can by starting a mini bidding war.

Seydou Doumbia of Roma, all interest in him appears to be over now as Guidolin has concerns over how he would adapt to England after failing so badly in Italy.

Jordan Rhodes of Blackburn is of interest but not at the £12m asking price, possibly a deal with Eder is the answer but again nothing substantial to report.

Ravel Morrison of Lazio is of interest to Bournemouth and Swans, but no enquiry has been made by the Swans, he is on their list of targets however.

Ogenyi Onazi of Lazio is a target, is available and well liked by Guidolin, and wants a move to England. The problem is that Swans hierarchy are aware this is not the key area that needs strengthening as Cork and Britton are both in form. This is shame as if the other areas had been strengthened earlier then this is the type of deal that could be completed promptly.

Dwight Gayle is under consideration but Palace will only consider a swap for Gomis.

Guidolin has assessed the squad since the Watford game and all the murmurs from within the club is that they will try and be active in the final week of the window.

Guidolin is looking to implement his 3-5-1-1 formation in his first home game.

24 Jan 2016 11:47:13
It's Everton today and we need someone to put the ball in the back of the net. Guidolin has only been in the Club a week mate and lads are struggling to get there heads around the new formation. So probably only change being Gomis back in.

They've tried to get all their old players back on loan, but the priority is a striker. Duvan Zapata the latest being discussed.

24 Jan 2016 13:10:54
I didn't say today's game was the home game. I said Guidolin will implement his style and formation in his first home game, as the Everton game came too soon to implement them.

24 Jan 2016 13:20:55
Further to my reply, I don't understand any point you're making?

The players are not struggling with the new formation, as it hasn't been overly used in training yet.

We need someone to put the ball in the net - that's why most of what I'm hearing is for offensive players, as my post highlights. So kind of a moot point from you there.

We tried to get De Guzman back on loan, enquired about Allen and have bid for Sinclair. We hold an interest in Borini but I feel that is just as much to counter Fat Sam trying to unsettle Ayew as it is an actual interest.

Priority is a striker, and it won't be Zapata.

24 Jan 2016 13:38:07
Defrel never worked at Watford, only Udinese under the Pozzos.

24 Jan 2016 17:46:31
Defrel is a striker at Sassuolo, I was referring to Guidolin, he was a consultant at Watford and some sort of Director of Football role at Udinese after taking a break from management.

21 Jan 2016 19:44:13
Chris Taylor is in talks with Blackburn Rovers to terminate his contract to seek playing opportunities elsewhere with Rotherham, Wigan and Oldham interested in signing him. Source - Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

19 Jan 2016 08:08:22
Middlesbrough looking to push through a deal for McCormack before the weekend.
Kike looks poised to leave with Wolves, Fulham (part of the above deal) or Blackburn his most likely destination. Fulham also want Husband as part of any deal. The move to Blackburn would hinge on Rhodes leaving. If Boro can't secure a deal for McCormack they'll quickly move for Rhodes.

19 Jan 2016 21:27:33
Hope your right about McCormack but think it might be Rhodes as Danny Graham just signed for them and Blackburn have now agreed to sell him for 12 mill either one will see us promoted personally I would want Bamford on loan to the end of the season and save the money till we go up.

20 Jan 2016 13:05:09
Looks like a good deal McCormack in and Kike out, would also love Bamford and after QPR signed Connor Washington, they are less likely to go for Bamford, but you never know.
I wouldn't mind it if Bamford went on loan to a Premier League club because he has to progress but if he comes to the championship and its not the Boro, I would be quite disappointed.
I heard that Newcastle are after Harry Chapman and i hope Karanka knows how much he could cost in around 5 years time and Newcastle should be the last team we consider selling any of our quality academy players to.

29 Jan 2016 22:00:23
Rhodes is evidently pulled from match tomorrow and is on his way to Middlesbro for talks. great result for Oxford lol.
