31 Aug 2014 01:02:40
Bradford City are hoping to sign Morecambe winger Jack Redshaw, the bantams hope to use the money they will receive from Tom Cleverley's sell-on clause. Bradford City is also looking at a defensive player to strengthen the depth of the squad.

05 Jul 2014 22:06:04
Morecambe in talks with Calvin Andrew who played for Mansfield and York last season.

Mr Bentley could do better that sign Calvin Andrew. Calvin does not appear to have achieved a great deal of late.

22 Jul 2014 12:14:12
This must be wrong. Calvin Andrew is crap.

04 Jul 2014 15:58:43

05 Jul 2014 11:21:03
Heard Preston are trying to sign Adam Hammil does anyone know if this is true? Would be a brilliant signing in my opinion he has speed is great at beating defenders and is a good playmaker at setting up goals for the strikers.

Heard that they're not interested, as soon as it was proposed the physio demanded danger money, doesn't like medics or something.

30 Jun 2014 15:21:41

22 May 2014 16:29:16
Morecambe forward Jack Redshaw is being targeted by Rochdale and Bury

I doubt jack will go. There'll be a fairly big asking price for him.

{Ed003's Note - we've done an ed's end of season thing that will be up soon - I put Redshaw as one to watch next season it will be interesting to see how he gets on Mainy.}

23 Jan 2014 21:39:26

17 Jul 2013 20:47:12
Rotherham haven't given up on landing Morecambe striker Jack Redshaw despite his long term injury. They are considering returning with a lower offer to tempt Morecambe to part with the player as he will miss the majority of the season with a hip injury and Evans sees him as a future star is willing to take the gamble the Redshaw will be back to his best when fit.

Can't see it happening when the MFC board have already turned down an offer already. {Ed003's Note -I'm with you absolute rhubarb! }

Absolute rubbish why would anyone buy a player that's injured, how many players careers have gone downhill after Injury?

Jack is staying with MFC. Rotherham would have to INCREASE their previous bid to land him.

14 Jul 2013 12:29:06
Morecambe are set to sign Chris Beardsley on a season long loan from Preston after Jack Redshaw was ruled out for 8 months

14 Jul 2013 17:16:56
it won't be a loan it will be a free transfer

Danny Carlton is better, who's wanting a new deal with Morecambe. {Ed003's Note - Is he fit again?}

Yes, Danny is fully fit now.

Beardsleys record isn't exactly inspiring - a 29 year old who has never scored many goals and I do worry if we're bringing in strikers who are worse than Danny Carlton. Still, this rumour looks to have some substance to it.

Scored goals at Stevenage so may turn out to be a good signing at Morecambe. Had doubts about Redshaw when we first signed him but he proved himself in the end with 16 goals. Danny Carlton not good enough to replace Redshaw & score goals. We need a striker who can find the net.

I would have thought a younger and hungrier striker on loan from a Prem Club with something to prove and learn would be more appropriate. Nothing against Beardsley but his record is questionable!

It all comes down to money & Beardsley would probably be a cheaper option having been at Stevenage rather than a premiership player on loan.

What about paddy amond

Padraig Amond was always going to be one of Morecambe's strikers in the coming season. The Beardsley rumour is just in respct of cover while Jack Redshaw is injured.

13 Jul 2013 01:47:15
Rotherham have missed on Lyle Taylor from Falkirk and Jack Redshaw from Morecambe as they placed a bid for both last week. Taylor rejected them to go to Sheffield United and Redshaw is injured for upto 7 months. Tubbs from Bournemouth still a possibility but he will take a lot of convincing to move up North so its unlikely. The most likely strikers to sign for Rotherham are Theo Robinson who is out of favour at Derby or James Collins as Swindon look to cash in on him. Also expect Evans to make another loan move for Swansea forward Rory Donelly despite saying he's ended his interest in him.

Redshaw, is injured and out for 7 months.

Yes, he says that about redshaw.

Now being reported that Kevin McDonald has left Swindon by mutual concent

Broken promises on transfer funds are apparently the reason he left. Although Swindon fans will probably tell you they're loaded and Mourinho is coming in!

I don't think many Swindon fans would say we were loaded. We are now trying to live as a sustainable club
