Peterborough are set to complete the signings of Stefan Scougall from Livingston and Stevie May from St Johnstone.

Stevie May - Not happening.
The other fella I don't know

Stefan Scougall discussing personal teams and medical on Monday so provided everything goes to plan this will happen.

Scougall will happen, may won't. also, what position is scougall? I know he's a midfielder - but we only need cover in left mid, and we have too many centre mids.

Heard him described as an (obviously worse) Wilshere-style midfielder

He's an attacking midfielder, I believe.

21 Aug 2013 22:29:51
Peterborough United want to sign Livingstone's Stefan Scougall

Fits the criteria for POSH signings but personally I had not heard of him before. :-)

Permission to talk to him. Offer accepted. In on Monday

No pal was speaking about the u17 boys from last season getting told to find them self new clubs I was right in to Livingston they were a good club but not now since john colons left it has went down hill they are not interested in the young boys they said they don't have cash for the lads

03 Jul 2013 09:27:16
Marc McNulty of Livingston is set to go on trial with Bradford City when they go over to Ireland on a pre season tour.

Are you sure you don't mean Cork's goalkeeper with the same name? Parkinson intends to trial a couple of keepers when Bradford are on their travels

02 Jul 2013 21:51:09
Why is Livingston getting rid off the under 19 boys getting told to find new clubs so mark burchill can play along with coach neil hastings this club was all about the youth system but not now sad time for the wee lads

03 Jul 2013 08:16:13
Davies and Taylor-Fletcher

That is the most pish I have ever heard, livi are all about youth

24 Jun 2013 12:15:52

Doubt we are in for any more midfielders

Especially with three years left on their contract.

Derby County summer activity and players we are currently looking at bringing in.

Jacques Maghoma (Burton) - Free
Martyn Waghorn (Leicester) - Free
Harry Forrester (Brentford) - Small fee due to age
Matt Kilgallon (Sunderland) - Free
Marc McNulty (Livingston) - Small fee
Chris Martin (Norwich) - Small fee, out of contract but Norwich have a one year option they will activate to get a fee
Marlon Pack (Cheltenham) - Small fee
Either Aidy White (leeds) or Danny Lafferty (Burnley) for left back for higher 6 digit fee's. if neither of these will be a left back from League One

Also interested in Johnny Russell from Dundee United but face stiff competition which makes a deal highly unlikely!

Outgoings

Ben Davies
Theo Robinson
Nathan Tyson
Conor Doyle
Frank Fielding
Gareth Roberts
James Bailey
Tom Naylor
Callum Ball (Loan)
Mark O'Brien (Loan) - Depending on Barkers progress

Other than frankie and davies leaving, I believe the rest will happen

Frankie will go. Lego is now first choice and Fielding isn't happy about being a number 2. Get his wages off the books, get some funds in and bring a new, young keeper in.

Also Matt Fryatt from Hull City, he has had a terrible injury at Hull and a Hull fan may be able to confirm but if they get promoted to the premier league it is likely they will be looking to offload him.

Fryatt is just the type of player we need!

1. Why would Leicester give away waghorn for free.
And 2. Why would they give him to derby haha.

27 Feb 2013 21:47:01
Waghorn is out of contract this summer and is behind Nugent, Wood, Kane, Vardy and Gallacher so is wanting first team football. Clough has been after him for years. Fryatt is also a target if Waghorn doesn't come.

If Waghorn wants to leave Leicester in search of first team football then he will be on a bosman. Then derby could potentially sign Waghorn on a contract, once he becomes a bosman Leicester can have no influence on where Waghorn will go! So it could be derby county, if he likes the look of the club and the opportunities he might get.

Also Leicester City have a great chance of promotion this season and so if they get promoted Waghorn will be even more inclined to go elsewhere for first team football.

However I presume you are a Leicester fan and so you consider derby county as a local rival and would not like the idea of a good young striker going to them. I am afraid to say I understand derby fans do not see Leicester as rivals. Waghorn would not be, in the eyes of the arrival club, coming from a rival and so they would welcome the move.

So in conclusion you're point that Leicester would not let him go to derby may not be applicable because Leicester may have no influence.

28 Feb 2013 11:50:08
Cloughie going in for Ryan Shotton from Stoke, and to Blackpool for Derby old boy Ian Evatt and utiliy man Kirk Broadfoot. Up front see Waghorn coming in and a move for Burtons' Billy Kee. Robinson / Lee Tomlin swap deal with Peterboro'

going out Tyson (free to Charlton not Millwall!), Naylor to Bradford and Ben Davies to Shrewsbury.

new one year deals for Roberts, Buxton and O' Connor, Callum Ball and Conor Doyle

28 Feb 2013 13:09:27
Scouts were at the Motherwell vs Celtic match last night and were very impressed with Chris Humphrey and Michael Higdon

Ryan Shotton will definitely not sign for Derby County and Shaun Barker is the exact same player as Ian Evatt so there would be no need to sign him.

28 Feb 2013 15:52:38
Would love to see Waghorn, White and a couple of others mentioned but I think the post is very unreliable there's 4 strikers in there and we won't need that many.

28 Feb 2013 19:31:01
Theres only 3 strikers with Martin and Waghorn to replace the outgoing Tyson and Robinson then McNulty more for the u21 team. Maghoma and Forrester wide mids to replace Davies and Doyle, Pack a centre mid to replace Bailey then a left back to replace Roberts and Kilgallon in to replace Naylor in defence. Clough will then have a strong squad throughout when dealing with injuries and suspensions.

20 Dec 2012 17:57:01
Derby manager Nigel Clough is wanting to sign three players in January.
Udinese defender Gabriele Angella has been told he can leave the club on loan and could sign on at Pride Park until the summer. The 23 year old is set to run out his contract until the summer and will be made a free agent.
Clough is wanting to sign 22 year old Kilmarnock midfielder Liam Kelly. The County boss has a good relationship with the Scottish side and could bag the centre midfielder for an undisclosed fee.
The final addition could be Livingston forward Marc McNulty. The 20 year old has been on trial at Pride Park.

16 Dec 2012 23:07:05
Derby won't be signing any players in January, however they are keeping tabs on:
Mahamadou Sissoko (Kilmarnock)
Murray Davidson (St Johnstone)
Marc McNulty (Livingston)

And jake humphreys and Jamie murphy...

10 Dec 2012 23:07:21
This is the closest you will get to the actual Derby County plan.

In January Derby fans can expect a quiet window with
Saul Deeney being loaned out to get his wages off the
bill and A Recall of Bailey and Ball both at Coventry.
But Behind the Scenes New CEO Sam Rush will start a
Busy Task Starting with Planning for the Summer.
Ovbiously Unless a Takeover happens or the owners come into some money we wont be buying players out right but will be taking advantage like other clubs of Players who are out of contract in the summer.
Even though we wont see these players intil the summer its vital on a low budget that coups like free transfers of young talents are quickly taken up therefore Convincing them and their Agents can take
months. As for the much debated left back position with the only natural left back Gareth Roberts retiring at the end of the season.Max Lowe is joing full time next season and will be around the first team set up he plays left back and midfield for people who are unaware of him he his the next big talent to shine and England u16/17 international.

Scouts have been to Scotland on numerous occassions this season to watch a number of players
with a trio from Motherwell big targets.

Shaun Hutchison-Very Likely
Jamie Murphy-Very Likely
Chris Humpreys-(Depends on Ben davies)

Murphy and Humpreys are wanted by Rangers

Also Young Livingston Striker Marc Mcnulty has been for a number of trials and has impressed and is due to Sign for the Development Squad.

Lastly a Goal scoring Midfielder in Anthony Wordsworth who has yet to commit himself to Colchester.

Rangers carnt sign anyone for the next 2 transfer windows but nice try

Ball is on a season long loan at cov, with no recall so unless cov send him bk he's staying there! As for bailey his loan finishs at the end of the month any way!

Ball is on a season long loan ... 95% of your post is made up.

If you can't dream why support Derby

1.I never said Rangers were going to sign them simply they wanted them much like this fraiser kid at aberdeen.

2.Callum Ball does have a recall as he left when we only had Theo and tyson as Strikers.Clough has said numerous times on the radio interviews that it was an option should one of his strikers become injured but he would prefer for him to gain a whole season of experience. As for Bailey
he has the option to extend his loan.

3.Dreaming!.What about signing 4 free transfers in the summer. You must support
Portsmouth if thats dreaming.

You can have Ball back he hasn't lived up to his potential and doesn't get on the team sheet. As for Bailey I believe Robins is lining up a permanant move.

Bailey has said he dont want to return to derby nd that he wants to stay at coventry

Sorry, but our Sean Hutchieson is under contract til end of June 2014. Big transfer fee please.

Hutchison is out of contract in 2013 with the option of 1 year.MCcall has said he hopes he
accepts to extend but he said he is waiting to see what is out there

He is contracted til 2014, as you can see by the BBC sport news report which i have copied and pasted here.
Shaun Hutchinson has signed a two-year extension to his deal with Motherwell.
The 20-year-old centre-back's current contract did not expire until summer 2012 but manager Stuart McCall has tied him up on a new deal until 2014.

Rangers can sign players this window on pre-contract agreements. we cant register them till september '13. DO UR HOMEWORK!!

10 Dec 2012 15:35:41
Derby County won't be making any signings in January but will be monitoring the following players for the summer.

Anthony Wordsworth, Central midfield, Colchester Utd
Callum McFadzean, Midfield, Sheffield Utd
Marc McNulty, Striker, Livingstone
Ryan Conroy, Left Back, Dundee

Plus Jamie murphy and chris humphreys..?

04 Dec 2012 15:10:04
Derby County Adding to their U21 Squad with
Livingston Striker Marc Mcnulty and Atlanta Silverbacks
Left Back Chris Klute who is currently training with derby due to the Mls Close season.

Chris Klute played for derby today in a behind closed doors game along with 3 other Colorado rapids players. two are likely to sign on loan during the MLS off season.
