Yesterday, I thought we played like a Rangers team should. It's only been one game but I already can see a huge difference. Defending as a team, compact when defending but width in attacking and aggressively hunting down the ball. Hamilton never had a sniff. Complete dominance. Tav for me was like a new player. Never been a huge fan but yesterday he was outstanding. Every player seemed to have pulled up their socks. Kenny Miller for me looked average and maybe that's because every other player has now matched his work ethic. Two players that didn't perform: Barry Ghost McKay and Martin-looks-like-he's-moving-a-wardrobe-Waghorn. McKay is inconsistent and hopefully finds form again but Waggers wouldn't be in my starting XI I'm afraid. But they are two minor criticisms. There are so many positives from yesterday that I hope we can kick on and produce the goods a away from home.

Dundee Utd are set to sign Paul Cairney on 2 year deal. This will allow Chris Erskine and Michael Gardyne to leave, artick Thistle and Hamilton interested in Erskine. Gardyne looks set to join Ross County over Kilmarnock.

Aberdeen look to replace Scott Vernon with Lyle Taylor. Also in talks to re-sign Adam Rooney. Vernon in talks with Ross County, Rangers and Fleetwood.

Kane Hemmings will begin talks with Hamilton, Partick Thistle and Dundee once he returns from trial with Orlando.

Ex-Hearts player Jamie MacDonald, Ryan Stevenson and Jamie Hamill are all in demand. McDonald has offers from St Mirren, Ross County as well as several English teams including Brentford and Peterborough. Stevenson is in talks with Motherwell. Hamill may join Rangers but Partick and Ross County are also interested.

Stevenson has now signed a 2 year deal with Partick Thistle

Bolton have signed Hamilton Academical midfielder Gary Fraser, they will immediately loan him back to Accies for the season.

Partick Thistle actually!

He played for Hamilton and Bolton signed him, he has been loaned to Partick Thistle actually!

Marc Iles from the the local Bolton paper said Hamilton then a few hours later said Partick. Think that's where the confusion lay.

Ikechi Anya, Cristian Battochio, Daniel Pudil, Erkstrand signing permanent deals with the future of marco cassetti unsure, depending of family. Watford will be looking to announce the suprise return of recently release jemain pennant and also traget mak and england internation carlton cole to reunite with ex-west ham manager gianfranco zola. Watford will be adding a number of udinese players to their ranks in merkel, Ighalo, Reneggie and Hertaux. Then finally are believed to be in the process of looking for replacements for vydra rumoured to be the return of marvin sordell and replacement for abdi in Dean whitehead

Hall and Eustace have not been released and are negotiating a new contracts.

Bolton look set to sign Hamilton Accies young 18 yera old defender Gary Fraser. Due at Reebok on Monday for a medical according to Bolton News. Can only see him being one for the future.

We will need a replacement a left back if Alonso goes to Italy and I think another winger now Petrov has gone to put pressure on Lee and in particular Eagles who looks to comfortable with no one pushing him. Why not go for Alan Judge from Notts County?

Charlton athletic are looking to sign out of favour luke young from QPR! Also Chris Powell is thought to be interested in bringing in Daniel Redmond from Wigan if the money offered is enough to entice Wigan to recall the player from Hamilton! Going the other way is said to be bwp to either Bournemouth or notts county and Danny Hollands to Swindon for a fee of around 225k

Swindon are in financial trouble so unless Hollands is a free transfer this will not happen

Out of form Bristol City are soon to have a new management team in place.

Former City Striker Wayne Allison will take over the management of the team from Derek McInnes with Ade Akinbiyi as his assistant. Andy Cole, Brian Deane, Hamilton Ricard and Shaka Hislop will take over as coaches.

They will make a few signings this window.
