24 Dec 2016 00:00:40
Heard a rumour James Vaughn not happy to be in a relegation scrap and won't be returning to bury in January, Bradford could swoop.

08 Jul 2016 15:01:59
Bradford City hope to complete the season long loan of young striker/ winger Joe Dodoo over the weekend. The 21yr old Leicester City forward had a brief spell on loan at Bury last season, as a winger, but Stuart McCall seems him as a strike partner for James Hanson.

10 Jul 2016 00:10:50
From what I saw of him last season I'm short stints he looks a good player who can only get better.

Getting some decent players Bradford.

13 Jul 2016 15:02:35
Dont seem to be moving in that direction.

Seems like we've missed out on Matty Taylor.

15 Jul 2016 12:16:59

Southend United look set to complete the permanent signings of Franck Moussa and former loanee Glen Rea within the coming weeks.

Rea spent time on loan at Southend last season, but the Shrimpers do face competition from Northampton Town and Fleetwood Town.

Speaking of Fleetwood, Antoni Sarcevic could move to Southend once his contract with Fleetwood expires. He is however, thought to favour a stay in the north west, with Bury or Rochdale more likely destinations.

22 Jan 2016 18:35:16
Wolves are very near to placing a bid for Kelvin Etuhu of Bury .

23 Mar 2016 16:27:12
Why would he sign for West brom reserves.

09 Jan 2016 16:48:46
AFC Wimbledon have made a bid to sign Wrexham attacking midfielder Dominic Vose. Wimbledon have lacked a goalscoring central midfielder this season, and Neal Ardley has identified London-born Vose, who has already got into double figures for the Conference side, as the man to provide that extra attacking edge. Newport County and Cheltenham Town have also made offers for the player, but he may prefer a move back to London.

Peterborough United have had a bid for Wimbledon midfielder Jake Reeves rejected. Reeves has been integral to the Dons this season and his high energy performances have attracted a host of admirers. The Dons may look to cash in on the midfielder, as his contract expires at the end of the season.

Wimbledon have made an offer for Bristol City centre back Adam El-Abd. The former Egypt international helped Bury climb out of League Two last season. He was on loan there from the Robins, where he started last season but fell out of favour. Ironically he played his final game for City against the Dons in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. This season he was loaned out to Swindon Town where he has recently returned from and has said he will not return. The Dons hope that they can secure El-Abd for a small fee, but will face competition from a host of League One and League Two clubs, including Bury, Leyton Orient, Rochdale and Shrewsbury Town.

The Dons are also considering boosting their options in defence with the loan signing of either giant centre back Cameron Burgess from Fulham, or marauding full back Nico Yennaris from Brentford.

Wimbledon will let George Oakley and Ben Harrison leave in the next two weeks. Oakley has had injury problems, and hopes to put those behind him with a move to Aldershot. Initially on loan, with an option to sign permanently in the summer.
Harrison broke into the Dons' starting eleven last season, but has found himself confined to the development squad, with little opportunity to even sit on the bench. Harrison has asked to be allowed a short term loan spell, and a move to Sutton United should be completed very soon.

After scoring both goals in Wimbledon's FA Youth Cup win away at Newcastle United, Alfie Egan has attracted the attention of Tottenham, Southampton and one of Wimbledon's potential opponents in the next round, Chelsea.

Fulham have made a bid for Egan's under-18 teammate Will Mannion. The 17-year-old is a tall goalkeeper who is being watched by England youth team selectors, and will join an England goalkeeper training camp next week. Mannion has travelled with the Dons first team squad for several games this season, but has failed to make the bench. The young keeper has expressed his desire to stay with the Dons, and is enjoying being part of their historic Youth Cup run, but his outstanding displays have caught the attention of a whole host of Premier League sides' scouts.

Oldham boss Darren Kelly has said that he is confident in completing the signings of his primary targets, and at the top of his list are a commanding centre half and a dominant forward.

He has also said that Tom Pope who signed for Bury was not a player on his radar in the 6-team chase for him.

Some of the players expected to be announced could be Ben Purkiss, Pat McCourt and Michael Ingham, along with as he keeps referring to the capture of premier talent with the contacts he has in the top flight.

12 Jun 2015 21:09:59
You're just a jealous Latics fan who is bitter that your club is in deep decline on and off the field whilst the mighty shakers are on the way up and will be in our shadow from hereonin.

No investment, tired old ground which is freezing even in The Summer lol.Get ready for a long hard season and probable relegation scrap hee hee

19 Jun 2015 18:25:39
Bury heading for financial disaster if spending is not adequately controlled. Spending is not a guarantee of any success ask a Portsmouth fan.

01 Jul 2015 16:38:10
Portsmouth record signing is some guy called utaka for seven million our record transfer is still about 200k - in fact i don't think we have paid for a player for years were not naive were signing free quality players its the fact were beating so called better clubs oldham, chesterfield to signings shows that we are doing it properly

securing carrington as out training complex has been a major fact

05 Jun 2015 14:44:51
Just sad being a oldham fan
Prediction 2015-2016 Oldham relegated
boundary park sold and turned into a happy shopper or bargain booze

12 Jun 2015 21:11:51
Yes it ain't no picnic being an Oldham Fan these days could be worse you might be watching the Fail.

15 Jun 2015 16:32:06
Absolutely delighted with TP signing

Nothing wrong being a bitter fan if you go week in week out and the team doesn't perform

oldham are a proven league 1 team granted we would all love to be in the championship but

lets establish ourselves in league 1 as long as oldham have instead of being a yoyo team

carrington will play a massive part in signing these players however untill we improve the gates dramatically I can't see us being nothing more than a team that counts avoiding relegation as an achievement

great going to bramall lane, oakwell, wigan etc etc but not if were going to get thumped 3-0 each time

DESPERATELY NEED A QUALITY GOALKEEPER

anybody got any news on one?

05 Jul 2014 11:21:03
Heard Preston are trying to sign Adam Hammil does anyone know if this is true? Would be a brilliant signing in my opinion he has speed is great at beating defenders and is a good playmaker at setting up goals for the strikers.

Heard that they're not interested, as soon as it was proposed the physio demanded danger money, doesn't like medics or something.

02 Jul 2014 14:03:45
